This entire concert is flawless start to finish. Michael did most the lyrics and melodies. You would have to do a lot of digging to really understand that, and the way he did it was unique. Some lyrics were straight off the top of mind, but when constructing a sound scape he was very much like a painter. Just as a painter blocks in the light and dark, undefined objects, Michael did that with his voice. He would record on a hand held micro cassette and it had no definable sounds, no ah's, no ooh's is was not even logical. He is blocking in the sounds before they even form. I found it fascinating and I recognized this because I paint. There is a series of recorded progression of him doing this, and I think the song ended up being "The Strangest Party", you would never be able to extrapolate that. Also there are clips of Michael teaching Ray Charles very politely giving pointers on how to sing the lyrics to their duet. He was so unique, a rare gem.
Agreed about the concert. And, great info on Michael. I should have included him in my comment on who was responsible for the songs. Michael and Andrew together were a superb team. Great feedback! 🤘🤘🤘
(A late comment/thought.) Regarding Michael Hutchinson: One of the reasons why life sucks is that we always seem to lose the good guys too soon, and were left on this Earth with an assortment of bozos to deal with! Good reaction, simple and to the point! ✌️😎
Great reaction, but IIRC the Kick album in the background is not correct; Suicide Blonde is from "X". Though this exact concert was on "Live Baby, Live". I always liked "The Stairs" from X.
This whole show is epic. New Sensation near the start of the concert shows 73k fans all bouncing in unison...looks amazing.
So fantastic perfomance. Amazing. ♥️

Such a treat! Thank you.
Absolutely, thanks for the recommendation!
This track was written about popstar Kylie Minogue. Michael and her were dating at the time.
