@@jobywaterguitartuition I just tried it yesterday and have got it down, but slowly. I have been playing a finger picking pattern that is similar for years but with out the alternative Thumb movement. I want to get Jolene down, my sister has a great voice and wants me to do the guitar part.

It’s also fun to move the capo. I watched some live performances and Dolly also played it with capo on G. I honestly love it without capo, it really pumps with muted open E. Now, the real challenge is to get the singing line into it 😬.

I agree with that 👍 it’s nice to lower it and sing or the resonance of the open strings with no capo too is really nice! You working on the singing?
