I have this watch. The bezel looks very solid , its size perfect, not too big or too small. The display is more legible than my G-Shock Gulfman ( G-9100 ). My only complaint is the strap rather thin , not sure it is durable but hopefully a replacing one is not hard to find. I am satisfied anyway , perfect to use on travel if you don't want to lose your valuable G-Shock.
I bought the Casio ae1500wh, still accurate to the minute over a year later, $25, 10 year battery life, 200 meters I think. I just wish they would do them smaller, tend to be large, otherwise Casio rules!! I want the Duro when they ever do a 40mm
Yep, the AE-1500 is great, the ideal pool watch for doing lengths when your eyesight is bad, like mine, i can check my times so easily underwater and on turns. Large but super comfy and light. This vibro watch appeals, too.
I bought one recently but I find the strap to be really uncomfortable. The material is flexible all right but it’s harder plastic than usual Casio straps. Edit: I’ve been wearing it to remind me to take meds; the strap has softened with wear and is now very good!
I also have the Casio 735H model Digital Watch, for about 3 years now. After about 2 years, the strap started to break, and I needed to put staples in it, and scotch tape over the staples. Today, Nov 5th, Daylight Savings Time ended, and it is impossible to make the time "Fall Back" one hour.
The only difference between a regular Casio and a G-Shock, is that the G-Shock module inside has a thin rubber coating surrounding it, giving it a little more shock absorbency, however, considering the way, some of the Casio's are built, I don't really think there's much concern for breaking them, for example, the 735H that you are showing.... it's a pretty beefy watch and unless you're throwing it off of a building I don't think there's a big concern on breaking it very easily... sure you might bang it against a door frame or a wall while you are walking and not paying attention, but it's going to withstand anything like that.... I personally don't see the point in paying $20 or more for a G-Shock
Thanks for the review. I just bought this watch new online from a reputable seller and the year was set to 2010. Does that mean my battery is already 13 years old?!
I have one with the negative display, nice watch and the strap is fine (fits my 6.5 inch wrist) but I'm not a big fan of plastic bands. Going to buy a vinyl/nylon one off of Ali's for this and my AQ-S810W. They both use the same strap btw.
Been eying this one for some time. Vibrating alarm is a neat feature-and on this subject, how's the vibration? Is it enough to wake you up if the watch is on the wrist? 😄
Hi and thanks for the question. Tough one as each person sleeps differently. Would not wake me but you certainly feel it on your wrist when it goes off during the day so good for reminder;)
Hi mate. Question: this specific model (W735H-1AEF) does NOT have auto-repeat on the countdown timer, correct? UK Casio site seems to think so and now I'm confused. I bought this exact model a few years ago on German Amazon and then gave it away. Recently bought the W735H on US Amazon, but the model W735-1AVCF clearly doesn't have the countdown timer. Mind clearing this up if you have a minute? Cheers!

Thanks for commenting. This watch has seen me through the roughest of working days. The strap is more supple than a G Shock but lasts just as long ;)
awesome trick men !!! one reason more to love my DW9052 :) ! tks 4 sharing !

Tried the Duro a few years back. Nice looking and well finished but sent it back as it wears like a dinner plate. 38 or 40 would be great!

Great vid, I will probably buy one because I have to attend classes at school and I can't have my hourly signal alarm on which I just love so much
Sounds good :)

I was very surprised with your original comment....it does wear more comfortably than a normal G-Shock :)
Can you combine vibration and sound in the alarm? So that it vibrates and sounds at the same time?
Unfortunately no.

You can buy a strap for it on eBay for a few dollars or just buy a new one for about 25 dollars. These are disposable watches :)

Thanks for your input. I have rocked a couple of these now and rate them highly for the price :)

No, not at all. Most watches are not set. Just bought a G-Shock recently that was pretty much the same, even though it is a 2022 issued model.
No. You will find you have to set most Digi watches...I know I have had to. Multi-band 6 are different as they keep to atomic time.

Hi! Exactly how big is your wrist size? I love this watch but I have a small wrist
My wrist is also small. 6.75 inches. These are light and rugged :) Remember to subscribe!

@@johnswatchjoint yeah, probably wouldn't wake me up either, I guess, I once slept through fireworks outside of our house. 😂
