It makes sense. When I am calm and at peace, I am a lot like a 5. When I am stressed or over-anxious (more anxious than usual anyway) I find myself behaving a lot more like a 7. You can see the 7 side of my personality if you visit my home. I have odds and ends from all sorts of projects and interests here and there. My walls are practically collages about these wildly varying interests. When my 5 side is in charge, it tidies things up and keeps the place from becoming chaotic, so all of the stuff relating to my eclectic interests are usually kept neatly on shelves, in drawers, tacked to walls etc. No piles allowed.

It can be alternatingly fun or frustrating, but always interesting to have a friend who is a 7 when you are a 5. I certainly have a friend who is a 7.
I'm a five, my ex is a seven. We tried everything to make it work. But if one person is always running around looking for the next adrenaline rush and the other reacts by retreating and becoming more difficult to get in touch with....it's always falling apart. Neither is showing up consistently enough.
