What really tripped me up was when I was watching this stream live and Smyth had like idk maybe 7 or 8 bigs left. I said "the irismans gonna win it". Turned off the stream and checked online the next day he had one. So basically he owes me a couple bucks.

Would you use the same strategy live as you would online?
The name of the game is still the same - players live tend to play much wider ranges and not as well as players online do.

Smyth was ranked number1 on pocket 5s in Ireland at one point but that wasn't enough for him, he used to try and contact people who made big final tables over skype and fb.... with a 'Ghost the FT for profit share' proposition. Nice guy :0)

Gotta ask you..I like both doug and Dnegs, but doug still at the same "air bnb" as before in prior comments which makes me believe its not...can doug handle the swings that come with the stakes they agreed with being outta the game? Ive always loved Daniel's live reads but his behavior is also less than what a community who doesnt know him personally would consider as usual. both players are most likely gonna rely on backers and I imagine daniel will have alot more "corporate backings". How much of a play do you think that will have, I can already imagine daniel will demand this be a GG poker matchup furthering this analysis if it hasnt already. Share your thoughts brother !
Why would either of them need backers? Both players have minimum career winnings of $10 and $40 million, they are playing $40K NL, if one of hem loses 10 buyins its not even 10% of their net worth. Also why would Doug not be able to handle the swings? He previously played exclusively HU which is swingier than a ring game and was the best in the world at his peak. Sounds like you don't know either of these players very well.
And dude Doug is heavily invested in crypto, have you seen the crypto market ? 40knl is nothing
God these party poker graphics are painful to look at, a normal table like you play on would be 100x better
My eyes literally hurt trying to figure out whats going on at the table.
