    Prostak’s story is kind of crazy. He played day 1A. Next day whole Belarus has no internet, protests everywhere. In the afternoon of Day2 he managed to get the flight to Kiev. He started to play Day2 on his phone, while his gf looking for place to stay in Kiev. Finishing day 2 and day 3 from the hotel.

    I'm excited for your interview with Landon. Saw him on twitch and reminded me of myself in the mid 2000's when I was still in love with the game. That kid loves poker so much and is grinding so hard right now, he's destined for great things for sure.

    Thank you Joey and Ike for doing this, much appreciated. Nice to see a bit of a change of pace from the usual videos.
    Also, thank you for cropping the stream to be a bit more readable. The WPT layout is slick, but man, the text is so tiny.

    Losing against quads in that spot. Lol. Internet poker is sick. These beasts that grind it out all day everyday deserve every cent they work for.

    H/U is BY FAR the most skillful form of NLH. Put it this way, if you play H/U, deep-stacked, and you put an inferior player against a much superior player, the superior player can beat him 30-40 times in a row. H/U really highlights your strengths, weaknesses, strategy, lack of strategy, etc.

    I'm shocked Ike said that Nick should call at 4:30 ish with AQ if he gets 4-bet shoved on in that particular spot. I mean AQ is a great hand, but why risk your tournament life there gambling that your opponent does have a hand like KJ? And even if you're right you're still gonna get knocked out sometimes before those short stacks. I don't like it.

    • @kcc1762
      @kcc1762 3 роки тому

      The point he was making is that if he decides to 3bet AQ vs the chip leader who is opening wide and 4bet shoving wide to apply ICM pressure, then he should be calling with the AQ. Otherwise he should just be calling the raise with AQ. So if you're 3betting AQ then going to fold to a 4bet, you shouldn't be 3betting it in the first place.

    • @itskmillz
      @itskmillz 3 роки тому

      @@kcc1762 That's a fair point, I think giving the SPR it's still reasonable to fold some of the time. I get that ICM pressure widens the range you can be getting 4 bet with but it still seems very risky with a hand like AQ. You're going to be behind or coinflipping too often it seems and do you really want to be coinflipping there?
