    cant i just solder in my original dc charger without the battery?

    this video is the closest one to the right and complete way to do this job . you only had to solder the sleeve pin of the jack to the positive of the drill's switch , ''connect'' pin to the battery positive terminal and add 2 more wires to the battery negative terminal and to the negative of the drill's switch in order to make it a true hybrid power drill. You could have both dc wall power supply and battery function. But this is a cool video to watch.

    nice quick hack! there is dc barrel connector that can disconnect one terminal if it is plugged. you can rewire so the battery is disconnected if dc plug is present

      Thanks man..! One day maybe make a charger for this.. at this "laboratory" we have only 24v
