Promoting women’s careers: 10 year anniversary of the Eleonore Trefftz Program

Dr. Sandra Buchmüller came to Dresden in 2022 as a visiting professor of the Eleonore Trefftz Program. At TUD, she researched the topic of a conscious and non-stereotypical approach to aspects of gender and diversity in design research and development processes. Thanks to the program, she has become “more visible with the topics of gender, technology and feminist technology research at TU Dresden,” and is looking forward to the challenges that this brings.
The Eleonore Trefftz Program makes temporary stays possible for visiting women scientists at TU Dresden. The program strives to promote women on their way to full professorships. Women guest professors are also professional role models for women students and scientists. Applications can still be submitted up until October 15, 2023.
