That is cooking for a truck that size! Once you get over that 40-45mph area all of them start getting a little sketchy but with the higher center of gravity and the big ol tires on it I would not want to go faster than this with it!! It was well behaved on the braking, a lot of the bigger tired trucks get a bit squirrely when breaking at speeds. It did really good!
agreed! It's honestly a bit too fast for its size but thankfully you can lock the ESC and keep it under 40mph. Once you get up to around 50mph they all become sketchy unless it's a low center of gravity like an on-road race car.
I wish my school had a place like this 😐 mine have poles every 30ft. And well push came to shove, gyro started over correcting and tail slapped the pole, just got finished repairing my rc😂😂
That pretty quick 👍💯
Yeah it sure is Dan!
I think I'll buy this RC in a few days . Do you recommend it? Another question... Where can I get spare parts?
Yes I recommend it and it's just a MJX HyperGo so parts are everywhere. If you don't mind please use my purchase link in the video description up help support the channel.
Hi again wanted to ask what rc car you would recommend for about 260 dollars that can do about 50mph
This one
@@RDsRCReviews thanks man
@Jimmycricket- what's The Beast??
@Jimmycricket- I'm not sure if I have reviewed the one. These cars are sold under so many different names that it's impossible to keep track lol
Whats the difference between the mjx version and this one? Not sure which to order
There's no difference except the name and color scheme. Other the one that's cheapest:)
@@RDsRCReviews Lol i went with the cheaper option it’s gonna be here tomorrow, my wife gonna kill me 😅
I just bought this and I have problem with driving straight I use this functions on joystick to adjust steering but still when I push throttle car can’t go straight, how you manage that?
it's not going to be easy to keep a truck this fast straight. Does it go straight line when you drive slowly? You might wan to consider getting a controller like a DumboRC and swapping out the receiver with RX that has a gyro. This will help to keep the car traveling in a straight line though you'll have to adjust the gyro sensitivity until you get it just right.
I figure this out more or less, but as you said anyways it’s not gonna be easy to keep it straight when I drive slowly then everything’s is perfect, it’s my first RC of that kind so I was worry that something is just broken 😅
Brother am from tamilnadu where did i buy that i need it how to buy that little beast 🥺
It’s like a mini Traxxas sledge!! Or Arrma Kraton take ur pick
I have this same car just brought it few days ago have issues putting the power down with out it flipping over any one have any tips on how the suspension springs should be set up ?
Thanks
@@Ch_riz you have to ease into the throttle to keep it upright but regardless it isn't easy to keep it from flipping over
bro we try this it was hella fast at bushes and unfortunitely my wife give to my coleaques son 3year old he put his handfull throtle it flies on the rock and it went in to the water and submerge for few minutes i was so bad i saw it but when i try it if jt still works deng it is workinglike nothjng happend this RC is very built. We try this near lake ontario here in canada.
were could i find spair parts for this rc car?
From MJX. They should be easy to find on eBay or Aliexpress or directly from MJX.
@@RDsRCReviews thanks man gonna order one soon
50mph is fast, especially on unlocked mode Ryan
Yeah definitely David. These cars get difficult to control at those speeds but I was really happy with how well this one handled braking.
Thanks for the video! If I ever damage the Deerc can I buy replacement hyper go h14bm parts to repair or upgrade???
Yep! You sure can. They are the same car.
But who are deerc? And s it the hyper go?
@@tariqrahman6918 yes
I bought it off Amazon and it got delayed I was so disappointed
They likely are waiting on new stock. You can buy the same truck from MJX and a few different sellers though
It will do 50+ in a bigger area. Ours did 51.23 mph with a 3s CNHL black series battery, everything stock.
@@10thscaleperformance I mean, I hit 48.8mph which is well within the margin of error so I'm not sure your point. I had a very large parking lot so I had plenty of room. I'm sure it can hit over 50mph at times with a slightly different battery, yes.
@@RDsRCReviews my point was just that, I wasn't being rude, I need a longer test spot because of the lagging of the GPS. I meant no disrespect and appreciated the video!
@@10thscaleperformance no worries at all!! It was a fine comment. Sometimes I do get comments though from people that don't even watch any of my videos so at first I thought that might meet been the case. No worries at all and thanks so much for watching and commenting and don't be a stranger!! Every comment is greatly appreciated!
@@RDsRCReviews same here, I haven't been able to load up any content lately, the hurricane damage has made it impossible, but there will be a 100 mph pass made with my laegendary thunder on video dropping soon! Have a great one
@@10thscaleperformance awesome!! Sounds great!
Yeah, it is faster on pavement.
I put on every upgrade you could get with this car and but I mean I did love it stock. But the one thing I don't understand and I can't grab my head around this. Why did they go so cheap with the steering? Like the steering is obviously pretty important. And the steering just sucks in my opinion like I just upgraded it to a new servo and now the truck's perfect you know does anybody else have an issue with that
@@JesseBlum unfortunately a lot of companies cheap out on the steering servos. A good servo can be expensive though I've had servo that's only cost $5 that are totally fine though the response time is most important with something this fast. I didn't upgrade the servo in mine yet but I might do that when I swap in a Dumbo RC receiver so I can use my DDF-350 with it. MJX makes some really good RC trucks with the Hyper Go's but the do still tend to cheap out on the electronics especially the servos but that's really common because these companies are trying to keep the cost down. If they don't keep the cost down then people will just buy Traxxas or Arrma instead.
@@RDsRCReviews I'm using a 21g now, and I swapped the 45a/esc with a 120a/esc running 4s with 80c or 120c it's quite crazy. Oh I also did extend the wheelbase with brass extension omg that was the coolest and awesome upgrade. Because especially when you increase the speed that much you want a wider wheelbase but then I stop stripping out so many other parts and now you can just skid and slide so I went with 20 mm extensions on each one so pretty cool man
@@JesseBlum I can't imagine this truck on 4s. Good grief. It was scary enough running it in the unlocked mode on 3s. Once things reach 50mph they become more scary than fun for me and I'm one that likes speed. I guess I worry at those speeds that if I hit anything it'll be like a bomb going off with busted parts flying everywhere lol
The steering servo was the first thing I changed on my HPI Savage X4.6 nitro. The stock servo wouldn’t even turn the tires when it was sitting still. Then the throttle servo crapped out on about the 5th tank of fuel. It’s a thing.
