Judging from this hyper go these are the best 14 scale budget cars by far. For the money you can't go wrong with these cars they are wicked fast and very durable. These by far are the best brand out there right now judging by this particular car. It's going to take a while for somebody to beat the quality and the price of these vehicles.😊
Rlaarlo’s 1/14 truggy/buggy and SCY (Su Chi Yu)is up there both performance wise and durability wise with MJX. Great alternatives if one can’t get their hands on one.
Have any of you guys tried the e revo 1/16? I have it and wonder if the mjx is more durable and what’s the difference in driving? I hate to work in my e revo and feels like I have to do a lot of upgrades to make it durable and I’ve broken the from bulkheads on both

I not recommend chaos mode if you have not upgraded to the aluminum part bundle from like Amazon, the speed ripped my tie rod arm in minutes lol, doesn't help I put the angry snail S2000 battery in it
The servo mount tray to weak can’t handle any impact mines broke so I lost steering have to buy a new tray for esc and battery and servo , hyper go didn’t even wanna send me one off warranty which sucks !

Just got one. Super fast. Hinge pins fall out of the rear replaced them with screws. First run hit a snag in the pavement and bent a shock lol. Other than that I put 2997a tires on mine and it's amazing. Soo much fun.

Haha sounds good. You can run it on 2s to slow it down, turn off the boost mode on the ESC directly and adjust the throttle on the transmitter from 50/75/ and the insane 100%

Yes I’d say ultimately we need RLAARLO in the 1/7 on road speed car market and MJX ( really both) at least up the 1/8 market. I think the two look to be progressing extremely fast

@@disciplinerc I always thought to keep lipos out of water 😂 use to rock crawl RCs before and scalers and we use to put everything in Tupperware 😂 before all this water proof thing happend
Meant wasn’t * built right the way the servo set up by water proof receiver box with the battery being in there impact with break that plastic tray where it holds the servo
I haven't had that happen yet, but I can see how it could now that you've mentioned it. Hopefully they adjust it moving forward with models in the future
@@disciplinerc yea I remove the battery strap form under the servo area but leave it on the back that way that impact won’t push batter into the servo I just did that and it seems better that way I had to zip tie my servo to where I removed the strap and I got steering back and batter won’t be moving around to cause that problem again just a tip that would help everyone I support all the rc guy out there and help however I can with anything even tho I’m new to the hobby
Arrma Granite Grom has been my cheap and small RC buy of the month. This thing absolutely rips! I think it’s like $150? Absolute deal for a ripper of an RC from a brand you can trust. On that note, I bought one from your link. Can’t wait to try out those tires on the beach!
Hyper go H16BM better than that and scale is 1/16 that aarma granite is 1/18 which is smaller and they H16BM goes up to 43 mph and it’s for same price but rn I think they going for 120$ on Amazon can’t beat that deal
Really enjoy your videos! Ive heard the mjx has throttle delay and that the wheels are very loose which makes it handle bad. Have you experienced this? Thinking of buying this to have beside my e revo 1/16 but that makes me hesitant. Also do you prefer this or the gorgon brushless? :)
Thanks dude! 🙏🏻 I didn't notice any delay at all with this one. As for the front end, it seems pretty responsive, but the servo is a bit twitchy. Comparing it to the Gorgon is tough. This is a great value for a 4wd basher and stupid fast out of the box. The Gorgon on the other hand, handles amazing and can take a real beating. Tough call between the 2 🤔
Awesome. I have the mjx h16bm and it was just a pain to work on when the center gear stripped from the drive shaft. I just never got new parts and was looking for a 10th scale so it would be easier to work on but I like the smaller rc cars I just wanna find one that's a little easier to work on. I think this might be the one
I just got mine in and I think I like it more than this notorious v5 6s blx arrma truck shit the diffs keep messing up with a hour of running it tired of buying these diffs and replacing them truck only been rubbed about 5 times since I got it last month I own 16th scales and they more durable than this arrma fake tough bs
These types of RCs are why i wouldn't even consider a vehicle from larger more widely known companies...i can have the type of fun i and my kids like and I could buy 2 or 3 of these for the cost of 1 from Traxxas Losi Armma etc.

It's like i remember when my cousin told me many years ago when we were younger he bought his first 125 KX Kawasaki and the guy he bought from had pretty much every after market parts upgrade even the motor was he told me you know im actually afraid of the damn thing to ride it to much power it's sooo fast he said it makes me think the same of driving this RC.😂
Damn here i thought my Traxxas rustler brushless 2wd on 3s was like my buddy said stupid fast this thing is scary fast 😂 give it a run for it's money for sure might have to pick this one up lol.
I have the Aliexpress version of this truck. Broke it first run on the partially charged battery that came in the box. I was doing some backflips off curbs and a fence and the rear left diff outdrive broke. The front has CV driveshafts and the rear has telescoping. They don't sell outdrive for the telescoping driveshaft so I am stuck with buying CV axles for the back and a new diff. Lovely $40 repair for breaking a $3 part. Love the truck otherwise. Fun fact, it shares diffs and driveshafts with the 1/16 versions, so at least I can get the parts.

I have a question when I turn the st trim for the throttle all the way up the car seems to drive forward by its self without me pressing the throttle what am I doing wrong ?
So it's exactly that. It's to trim your throttle input and fine tune the trigger. It's not a duel rate control, so it has no effect on the overall speed of the car 👍
You know what you can do with that Track & Start.... you can take it, put it with the Stop & Read and burn it......

I don't have the revo so I can't comment on it. But what I do know is the mjx hyper go vehicles are very very durable.

Yep, its sealed really well. The receiver box is gasketed and even the servo seams have sealant on them

Still fine, the receiver box was dry inside too. I do make sure I do dry them out and lube the bearings after a good dunking like that 👌

I've actually never had an issue dunking, soaking batteries. Even in the ocean it's rare to have them fail 👍

This was really built right any front bumper impact will damage the servo mount due to how the receiver water proof box was attached on to the car

I agree, cheap RC's doesn't mean poor quality anymore. I find i have the most fun with the cheaper vehicles, and more often too cause of the prices👍

Lots of parts, easy to get and cheaper than most parts from major brands. MJX makes a great car, and the 1/14 chassis is the best by far.

It's like i remember when my cousin told me many years ago when we were younger he bought his first 125 KX Kawasaki and the guy he bought from had pretty much every after market parts upgrade even the motor was he told me you know im actually afraid of the damn thing to ride it to much power it's sooo fast he said it makes me think the same of driving this RC.😂

I have the Aliexpress version of this truck. Broke it first run on the partially charged battery that came in the box. I was doing some backflips off curbs and a fence and the rear left diff outdrive broke. The front has CV driveshafts and the rear has telescoping. They don't sell outdrive for the telescoping driveshaft so I am stuck with buying CV axles for the back and a new diff. Lovely $40 repair for breaking a $3 part. Love the truck otherwise.
Fun fact, it shares diffs and driveshafts with the 1/16 versions, so at least I can get the parts.

I have a question when I turn the st trim for the throttle all the way up the car seems to drive forward by its self without me pressing the throttle what am I doing wrong ?
So it's exactly that. It's to trim your throttle input and fine tune the trigger. It's not a duel rate control, so it has no effect on the overall speed of the car 👍
