Don't know why you always fillet. So fresh what about just gut cut into sides fry whole eat head and crispy fins. Like you vids I'm in Denmark.
Never cut into the sides, the exposed flesh makes it dry out more than keeping it intact in its skin. How are you going to make a wrap out of a whole fish, no one likes eating fish bones. Filleting is the only way to go for wraps.

Do you ever fish at dusk/night or at the break of dawn? I know the light isn't great for filming but you seem to do most of your fishing in the day. Is that a fair comment?
No, not a fair comment, if you watch more of Gido’s vids you’ll see dawn and dusk fishing all the time but, as you mentioned, he is making youtube vids and making the most of the short time he has out there. If you only fish at dusk and don’t catch anything then there’s no dinner and no catch & cook for video content. Fishing in the day gives more opportunity to make us drool by an improved chance of having a fish to cook.

My fishing buddy and l did a day-hike rock- fishing trip. We cooked a fish and made wraps like you do. We used a twig stove (Ohuhu) which works well and is light to carry. It was a good day. Thanks for the inspiration. 🤓🎣🛶🇦🇺👍

You really need to stop using Seed oils. Great healthy fish cooked in poison. We need to keep our great content providers healthy.
How can you tell that the oil is not olive oil? A fruit oil.
@@teeanahera8949 Olive oil is also easily oxidised. Inn fact unless you source it direct from the supplier it comes already oxidised . Although much better than Seed oils which are essentially poisonous. Animal fats solid at room temperature are not oxidised, healthy and can be even safely re-used if not allowed to burn.
