I also gave myself a goal for the 2 mile of 15 minutes, but I'm using an app to measure my distance and the fastest I can do a mile right now is in 9 minutes 46 seconds. I am only 13 but I'm pretty fast and my stamina is okay so i dont know if it's a problem with the app or me, anyways I love your videos.

Once upon a time I ran 1000m in somewhat 3:20 with these. Was pushing quite hard, but not to the max limit. My all-in 1000m with normal running shoes in those days would be somewhat approx. 2:50-2:55.
Basically my feelings were that it is possible to get significantly more speed out of the rebouncing system overall, but both it requires quite a bit of practice at higher-than-race-pace speed and most of all the springs have to be adjusted for the specific speed. So that the stiffness of rebounce at 4 mins/km shall be completely different to that at 3:20 and faster - if it is too soft, you waste both time and energy while struggling to bring your leg to the front from the rearmost position. But if it well-tuned you can make the spring actually to push you forwards at the right moment.
Anyway, nowadays still use these shoes for alternative training exercise and I consider them way better than most alternatives, e.g. skiing, cycling, rowing and so. In my opinion, they fill this niche extraordinary well.

The spring bands need to have some adjustment. It looks like you could have used them a little tighter. You were getting a full smash but could have used a little quicker rebound. Then again, I'm a little high and have no clue how I wondered here. You get my like sir. The crash edits were awesome.

Nick, i looked at google map at Sheldon high school in Eugene, OR. And matched exactly! Yes, that the kinda of fan of yours. Question: how did you get in the field? I have several local high school fields near me, but I need to jump over the fence to get in. They close for COVID.

Because of paralysis I wear braces that don’t allow me to bend my ankles. I considered getting these to give me a possibility of running again but reviews said they break pretty quickly.

Nick I didn't finish watching the video yet but I saw the shots of your warehouse. I'm curious from a business perspective how much space are you utilizing in the warehouse now compared to when you first moved in and started storing your product there? obviously the goal is to grow and eventually fill it so much that you'll actually need a larger space. But I was just curious seeing how there seemed like there was a lot of space in there now
Also I would argue that you're still a professional athlete because you use your athletics in running your business.

His bionic mile is faster than my regular mile. Thought my 7:29 was decent for an effort but that 6:49 bionic is crushing.

I’m 14 and my fastest mile ever was 6:05. And I felt like I was about to die after completing it. I’ve never felt so fast in my life. I don’t know how I’m these videos and other videos kids that are younger say that they ran miles in 5 or 4 minutes. They clearly haven’t ran a mile in their life. Running is WAT harder than you think. Especially when the sun is strong. That REALLY slows you down.

@@chainbreaker2362 Considering the world record for the mile run for HS is within .2 seconds of 4 flat, they are just lying. If they’re saying 5 mins or somewhere in sub 5 and they’re ACTUALLY real cross country competitors, then it makes sense. But to say 4, nope.

Your feet are spring loaded-- Lateral arch, Medal Arch and transverse arch. They are ¥our tires and from the rear you cqn see how obviously out of alignment they are. Especially when you drive off of your toes and retract them. What that means is that from the inner attachment at the sit bones, through the adductors, then through the medial popliteal (behind the knee) and down through the medial ankle to final attachment to the metatarsal, (mid-foot) your musculature is TIGHT! It can be extended and balanced in the OFF SEASON by doing a modality called ROLFING. So, your feet are your tires and your knees are your head lights and you want them to focus straight ahead, in the direction that you are going, for efficiency of wear and tear and to minimize fatigue (from having to fight your self to flex and extend. Not to dissuade you, it is not cheap, but you may be able to find one or two people to give you a kind of scholarship or cut rate. This involves a commitment of (7 minimum) to 10, one hour, plus or minus sessions. Each session has to focus on a different part of the bodies "facia" and with your assist can extend and "balance" each segment of the body. They look for an overall balanced line, (up and down) Horizontalized girdles: pelvic, shoulder and cranial girdles (Taking out the tilt and torque, that happens from birth, improper alignment, and or trauma). Look it up, check it out and good luck. The modality is called ROLF or ROLFING and one who does it is a ROLFER.
