Bro I’m a flight attendant for a major us airline. Your video got recommended in my page and just watched the whole thing and I gotta say this is a super awesome video and thank you for making my job easier. You are awesome brother
This is my first time flying too, and the airport tips and plane tips, really helped me know what I need to do and it helped me calm down. Thanks again
I love this video! First time going on a plane on Thursday! Going from Chicago to Las Vegas. I’m not scared of flying just anxious about what to expect and going through security. These are great tips! Thank you
@@kamgerald1872 it was great! Everything was smooth. I flew with United. Little to no turbulence. Only thing I don’t like is if you’re sitting next to a stranger and they keep putting their arm on your remote for the tv 😆
I always get TSA pre check automatically yet I never signed up. And that was 4 trips, all round trip. I know you can get it randomly, but so far I'm 4 out of 4 lol One tip I would add is to register as a citizen abroad when you go outside your own country. Better safe than sorry in case you get seriously lost or run into trouble. For American citizens, it's completely free to register and takes a few minutes online.
My tip is you can save $10 on your checked bag for a RT flight (or $5 one way) by paying in advance. Bags are now $35 each way so buy your bags at least 24 hours before check in to save a couple $$! Sidenote: idk if this is for every airline but, I've been able to do this with United and Jet Blue.
Thank you man I’m flying this summer and haven’t flew for a good while and this is a very good refresh of what I will need to do keep up the good work with the videos man
I'm from Barbados 🇧🇧 and tie my flag/bandana to my luggage handle. That way I spot the flag before my luggage (black, white, pink....I think ALL bags 🎒 are mine until I see my flag!! 🤭)
Best tip for preventing your ears from popping is to use Afrin maximum strength nasal spray when you get to your seat! My ears were hurting so bad my first time flying and this is the only thing that has ever worked for me.
We're getting ready to travel to our daughters destination wedding..I thought I'd get some tips on UA-cam. Putting heavy items in your personal bag is life changing. I didn't realize that doesn't get weighed. This is especially useful traveling without a checked bag.
Good to know that the bottle filling stations are still open on water fountains. I drink a lot of water and we are headed to Mexico (hopefully!) in February.
Carry a tsa size bottle filled with antibacterial hand soap. Due to the pandemic, maintenance has been on point with it in the bathroom but just in case, I personally prefer to bring my own.
Great video! The only thing I disagree with you on is the curbside check in. Ive never encountered a fee but a "tip" is always appreciated. A 5 or $10 tip is well worth it to me as apposed to going inside the airport and standing in those long lines....
@2:09 - Correct! That’s only for carry on. If you check in your luggage, it must be in a clear quart sized bag. Liquid can exceed 3 oz and bottles don’t have to be clear. Other then that, your tips were awesome! Thnx!
These are excellent tips . Folks often don’t realize that traveling is extremely intimidating to some people and anxiety inducing. I’m chill about it but I know this will help others
Tip: This is what I did when I went on holiday. It is so true that everyone has the same bags. To provide extra security for our luggage on our international flight , we brought some plastic wrap. From Amazon for £7 and yellow/green electricical tape. We wrapped our luggage a few times in the plastic and the coloured electrical tape, we wrapped it twice around the suitcase and handle. It made it so much easier to identify our luggage as we was looking for the tape.
Wait so you can take an empty water bottle and fill it up before getting on the plane? All this time I thought the only beverages allowed on a plane were the overpriced ones that you spend nearly $10 on lol
At some airports you can take FROZEN ice (NO Water can be in it). Take it out your bag and let security know it's ICE before it goes through the scanner. I haven't had any problems. If it's an airport that doesn't allow it and make you throw it out you still have your water bottle.
My first flight in many years, I was standing on the security line and didn't realize I had to check in first. Needless to say I was late and they gave away my pre-paid window seat and checked my carry on bag due to no more overhead compartment space.
Great video, thank you! First time flying and I’ll be taking an international flight by myself. You covered customs briefly so I just want to ensure I caught the general gist of the logistics. - Go through check-in inside the airport - Pay for cargo luggage, if any? - Go through customs - Find gate - Wait near gate and hop on early as soon as they allow folks to board?
My very own tip: when you first get your boarding pass, go to you gate BEFORE exploring any duty free, stores, restaurants. This helps you remember the exact place your gate is if the gate starts to board
Luggage tip: get a string that’s colored a bright color for example red, blue, green, etc but tie it on the top of the luggage like a ribbon so that you know it’s 100% yours
A few more tips from someone who's flown in excess of 1,000,000 miles on commercial flights: 1. Avoid checking bags if at all possible. 2. See #1. 3. Anything can make your bag stand out. Tie a bandana or scarf to the handle. Put a piece of brightly colored duct tape on the bag. I've used an old Army PT belt. You don't have to spend more money to make your bag stand out. And ... if you don't check your bag, you won't really have the identification issue. 4. Digital boarding passes are nice, but, like Caesar said, paper never fails - unless you lose it. Put your paper boarding passes in a brightly colored folder or envelope in your carryon. 5. Along with everything else Caesar said about dressing comfortably, wear slip-on shoes and stuff you jacket in your carryon before you go through security (in addition to anything else on your person or in your pockets that can't go through the scanners). 6. You won't need your ID to board the plan (once you've cleared security), just your boarding pass. 7. If you are selected for additional screening on an international flight, don't panic (unless you're a drug mule). With as many miles as I've logged, I've been selected several times. Never a strip search or body cavity search. 8. Use spinner bags for your checked bags and two-wheeled bags for your carryon. 9. Many times, if you volunteer to be bumped from your flight, you'll get other perks like seating upgrades, more snacks, free booze, etc. 10. If you do need to use the restroom on the flight, the best time to do it is about 35-40 minutes before landing. This avoids the last-minute rush of inexperienced travelers. 11. Security scanner lines are a lot like grocery store lines. As soon as you pick one, another one will move faster. Generally, avoid lines with families, individuals in wheelchairs, and individuals who don't appear to be preparing for the scan. (Nearly impossible, I know.)
I have nearly 4 million air miles. Yours is one of the few "tricks and hacks" videos that actually make sense. Here's another tip for black bags (or any color). Buy a pair of cheap, colorful socks and tie one sock and the handle of each of your checked bags. That way you simply look for your ugly socks.
@@CesarCinema Thank you! Just checked in today online and got my boarding pass on the app learning everything I can to get to concourse D. What would be faster the plane train or the escalator?
I've seen passengers wearing pajamas, house shoes and carry plastic bags for luggage. Clearly an indication of a lack of class and usually the type person who causes problems.
Everything was good over all except for limiting fluid intake on a plane !! You need to hydrate yourself on planes !! We need to drink water to prevent blood clots from forming on planes !!! Very very important !!! As well as do leg/ foot exercises every 30 minutes & move around every hr. And yes drink enough water 💧 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️💞
I’m allowed to take snacks on my carry on!? I thought food wasn’t allowed. I’m flying out in a week with my son and snacks would be great to keep him distracted with something.

Also you can get it cheaper with credit cards or some airline loyalty programs.
