I’ve had the Bento bag for a few years now. It’s awesome for those pesky budget airlines! You can bring it on every flight (so far) lol ✈️
That's so awesome to hear. I'll be using it on my trip to Guatemala on Wednesday. I booked a flight that was half the cost if jus bringing a personal rather than a carry on suitcase and this counts. Pretty sweet!

Damn girl hallelujah to that I would definitely say to mom and dad. I’m gonna use the check-in counter, Westy gate agent because it’s better for me to check them in my own bank like
Another tip: wear closed toe shoes always. When you visit the aircraft’s bathroom, the liquids on the floor are not water!!!! I also use double socks before I pass the security check point. I take off my shoes, pass security in my socks and then take off the top socks leaving the clean ones to go back into my shoes.
Great tip. The washrooms are never pleasant 🤢
I’ve travelled a ton, and watched many travel tip videos, but you actually had some new tips for me! I had not seen your videos before. Coconuts through security, Boarding pass on the Lock Screen, Shuttle to hotel, then cab from there, plus a few more. Thanks!
You're very welcome! So glad you found some new tips to use on your next trips. Also...welcome! Hope to see you more around here :) we upload every Sunday
Hotel shuttles from the Atlanta airport require photo ID and a reservation number before you are allowed to board the shuttle.
I love these tips!!
Fantastic tips! Thank you so much for sharing.
I love your cami!!
Wow, thank you so much for all the great advice & hacks ❤️!!!
You're very welcome! Have any trips coming up?
@@hopscotchtheglobe Maybe a summer trip to Hawaii?
Us too! We will be there this summer
I dislike that all credit cards that allow you access to VIP lounge now charge you a hefty annual fee. When you travel alone, it’s not a big deal to pay to have access but when is three or more people, it gets pricey and adds more expenses to your trip.
We get a secondary card for a small fee so that the whole fam can go into the lounges together. Plus when you add the 200 you get right flights and hotels, 200 for food and other perks, as long as you remember to use those, it's definitely worth it
Thank you
You're very welcome! Have any trips coming up?
Thank you for the tips! I didn't even know about the reserving a security spot for the airport. i'm heading to Costa Rica in 2 days so you posted your video just in time for me, thank you!
Yay! I live in Costa Rica :) what part are you traveling to?
It’s not for every flight. It is available between certain hours of the morning because it’s when they have more flights. I have used it before and depending on how long the regular line is, it has saved me precious time.
@@mariareyes-ku6194 ah okay thats good to know! when I booked it for my flight, the airport was not busy at all, security didn't even care that I booked a time because of how few people were there haha.
I love my Nomad Lane❤
I love knowing I never had to check my bag and there will always be room for it on every plane
I would not buy any airport pass from Craig list or other website. There are so many scams that you may end up losing your money.
It's definitely not my first go-to, but I know others who do it often. Like anything on Craigslist, it's a risk. However I've purchased many things from the platform and it's been a good experience (including our Airstream)
In the UK we can check in online. Is that not a thing worldwide?
Yes you can check in online which I highly recommend, especially if you're traveling carry on only. That way you arrive at the airport and go straight to security. But if you're checking your luggage then you need to go to the check in counter anyways.
But if you are traveling to another country, you still have to check at the counter because you have to show your passport and in some countries you also have to check in into their own website and show proof of that QR code too.
@@mariareyes-ku6194You don’t have to check in to the counter for international flights unless you didn’t upload your passport to the airline’s website ahead of time. I haven’t checked in to a counter for any of my international flights in the last couple of years.
I do not recommend the last row on the airplane. We had a long flight from Seattle to Orlando and we were seated at the last row. Not only it was next to the bathroom, it was next to the flight attendant’s lounge. They talked through the WHOLE flight and I couldn’t take a nap plus the constant flow of passengers going to the bathroom make noise as well.
Earplugs are great for that...and an eye mask :)
Is there an expectation to tip at curbside check in? Silly question maybe, but somehow I always get that feeling.
No you don't need to tip. It's a service provided by the airline.
@@hopscotchtheglobe At the Atlanta airport, curbside check-in locations are run by Sky Caps (i.e., “airport affiliates”), not airline employees, and tipping is customary.
Stop calling a personal item a carry on! They’re two different things
One time there was a pilot in front of me in line at a airport McDonald's. He asked for a plain burger.
Hehehe
😂😂😂 everyone is an expert. 😂😂
I mean I've been traveling pretty full time since 2010 and made a career out of it for the past 13, so I think I'd call myself an expert :)
SLEEPING PODS? WHERE,
In many airports now!
@@hopscotchtheglobe not in london or bangkok or italy... i think
I'm not trying to be a know-it-all, but I've traveled the US quite a bit already this year and no tsa has asked for anyone's liquids to be outside of their bags.
I was just one two flights within the US in the last month and got asked both times to take them out.
Which of these airplane and airport travel hacks are your favorite?
Coconut! And boarding pass
Yesss to coconuts!
I travel with a silicone collapsible water bottle. It goes in my personal item bag. I don’t need a travel cup holder. I wear my phone on a lanyard around my neck. No one is stealing it. The bento bag looks convenient but I will not use a personal item bag that doesn’t have backpack straps. In the off chance I check my carry on, I don’t want to walk around the airport carrying my personal item on my shoulder (even cross body becomes uncomfortable). I definitely encourage bringing your own food but if you’re flying across borders, make sure you eat it all before landing. You can’t bring in produce, meats, seeds, etc to other countries. If you have TMobile, you can get free wifi on United flights. If you get the TMObile international plan you also don’t need to worry about getting eSIMs in most other countries.
