- I can't mention the Black Knight without hearing the music from Black Knight 2000. One of my favorite video game soundtracks, as well as one of my favorite pinball tables. It always made me daydream of Macross Valkyries, Itano cirucses, and green haired alien warrior women which are all a bit unrelated to both Black Knight 2000 and Kingdom Death.

Damn, I really do love those new sizes. Bought some Marvel Crisis Protocol stuff and seeing the size of these look similar is neat and I think lends to really highlighting the detail and letting the painting part be a bit easier and allow for more detail. Kind of want to pick up a box of minis now even though I don't play the game.
I love the size too- not that they were ever all that small to begin with!
Getting the plastic minis actually shouldn't be too tough- there's plenty of gamer- types that don't want to bother with the plastic stuff from the Gambler's Chest, and there's always the discounts on the Black Friday sales at the website- the Echoes of Death boxes are always good if you're just looking for interesting figures.

Wow great detail...those swords are huge on the model...they would have to be an Aluminum composite metal....
The different heights are almost normal....heights vary amongst people. I'm looking at some new GW Imperial guard releases and it's unrealistic, how they all are the same size...

I like all the variance too. Unless you're a hardcore customizer and kitbasher I don't see the issue with scale creep, and I was intentionally trying to find some big discrepencies.
I'm not sure which have more fiddly bits--Falifaux or Kingdom Death. Still they make for striking figures a lot of the time. Though how often do we as painters look at the underside of a model? Aside from painting it that is...
Yeah, I'm one of those people that can't abide having stuff left undone even if you can't really see it. I'm going to need to fill those gaps first though...
