OMG I love that song. And the singer/writer. Not letting the perfect be the enemy of the good. . . enough. Wisdom in a song that someday we’ll hear on the radio? How good is that!!??Much better than good enough. That video version is a keeper, too.
I love watching you play guitar ,How the hell do I get my hands to move like that .Its like you are weaving a beautiful blanket that warms and comforts us . You have been blessed my friend
Personally, I think if this career tanks ... she would make a sweet-fine photo model ... Jewelry, clothes, hair styles, innerlight shine ... what have you. Just show that face ...
Wow! Notice the venue, and still a clean and well-balanced vocal/instrumental sound. Molly sounds great even under low-tech circumstances...brings to mind just settin' with her on the back porch hearing her play. Wonderful.
Doc Watson would love Molly's work. She's in that hallowed space reserved for exceptional flatpicking masters. May she continue to grow creatively and continue to delight throughout her career.
I was at the show she did at the Wildflower Pavilion the day they filmed this.I drove 200 miles round trip for Laramie Wy though rain and snow on the way back.I was held up by the Ft Collins Police for 30 minutes at a convenance store for no apparent reason other than it was on 4/20.had to stop and check on a guy who rolled his truck off the road(he was fine his truck wasn't drive slower when it's snowing idiot.i didn't get back home till 1:30AM.it was worth every bit of it.see you at Rockygrass Molly I'll be Back.
Hey I was there too that night but I only had to drive from Loveland. I know they were trying to get to Durango the next day and I think the weather was a problem. I'm missing Rockygrass 'cause it was sold out by the time I realized she was going to be there. So instead I'm going to Green Mt in Vermont to see her and the Goodbye Girls.
What a night - when I read your post I was tempted to say 'more than I need to know' but realized how much I enjoyed your story that it added to my 'virtual' enjoyment of her concert. Rewards sometimes require great effort.
Molly you have many great talents and i know it takes a lot of work to play like that i have been trying for ever and i just can't get there .Man i would give anything to have just one friend that plays like you. well maybe in my next life
Hi molly - I just wanted to tell you that I agree with you that some times you do have to say that's good enough but you say it much sweeter than I ever could!🙂.thank you ✌🏻❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Bw.
Love Molly. Hope to catch her live one of these days. First found her while listening to AJ Lee. Funny how things come around. What guitar is she playing now? I know she has been with Thompson but this looks like a de branded Martin. Sounds lovely. Kudos to Grace design as well. Peace
Hey, #gracedesigns What's the signal chain on the performance at the end? It's not clear that it's the Felix which was the product featured at the start. In fact, it can't be entirely since she's singing and isn't close-mic-ed, so whatever we're hearing, it's at least partly whatever mic and preamp her vocals are going through.
@@mbsnyderc i mean if she go into mainstream or famous with a label or manager something like that she probably do a lot of stuff you know . like change her look because of people/label ,but no not all person .its just about wise choice she will made you know im sayin
@@adintyaannasaidhiakharisma5202 Don't think that's a problem she a girl they change there look every other day anyway and i don't she the mainstream going for what she does.I doubt she going to go hip hop pop queen ant time soon.
Girl, I’m still trying to figure out how you do what you do. I haven’t gotten to the how you get your tone part. I hate to say it but I’ve been playing longer than you’ve been around. I’ve never seen anybody flat pick like that. I’m not even sure what flat pick means. I just heard a comment about it. Keep it up. I’ll see if I can find album of yours or something.
That's how you jump years ahead ... concentrated study, lots of lessons, lots of constant playing. Of course, some God-given talent doesn't hurt either ... God saw fit not to give me any of that! And when I complained once, it came back to me IMMEDIATELY ... "But look what I did with you anyway ... " After 57+ years, I became a decent player ... paid my way through junior college and Florida State University so's I could get a decent day job; built a house for my family, and still give myself something to do in the dark of night when I can't sleep. So if you love the guitar, study it and learn as much as you can ... It will always be your companion at the very least ... And that's good enough ...
Yes, but Tony Rice really wasn't a songwriter. As Molly matures she has the potential to become something really special. Guitar chops, vocal ability and song writing. Hopefully she will fulfill her promise as a one-of-a-kind artist. She has the potential to be the whole package. In the last five years, she has grown so much. Not just a guitar geek any more.
Your Fingers are even Beautiful Molly! I mean your perfect, simply put Moll... you really are a dream come true not only to Music but as a very Special person, I’m gonna fly right behind you in case you fall, but...you won’t. Respectfully Yours, Your Number #1 Jeff Mercer Mentor, Ohio 44060
I don't figure you will ever answer, but why the Ohio thing on your guitar strap? I know you are from Cali but moved to Boston, why the Ohio patch? or maybe that is not Ohio. Just figured I would ask.
I saw a vid where she played with Tommy Emmanuel, and he completely destroyed her with his soloing to be honest. When you put her against the best, she is not that good.
For that you get 2 studio grade preamps, a studio grade mic preamplifier, 2 studio grade 3 band EQs, 2 stage DI's with custom wound ISO transformers, throw in a boutique clean boost pedal, all powered by a universal switch mode AC power supply, and you'd be looking at spending many thousands of dollars more. In that context, Felix packs a lot of value!
no auto tune no studio tracks just a artist with a guitar and a amazing voice! That is an amazing thing to see these days!
Amazing talent and what a great personality! Molly, you're a joy to experience!
Molly is so special!! I would love a CD like this...just her and her guitar. :)
If you see this, Molly, please know that I greatly appreciate your music. Listening to you play is a true blessing. ☺
Molly is so awesome and she takes pride in her product, she plays, writes, sings from the soul
Wow. A humble, sincere, intelligent and talented person. We need more of these,.
I'm always amazed at Molly's ability on the guitar. It seems to come so easy and she has a great voice as well.
She is simply amazing. What a talent.
Such a beautiful woman, such a beautiful soul, and an unbelievably good guitar player.....
"Comes a time to say that's good enough"
Then proceeds to play to perfection.

Exceptional as per usual
That Molly Tuttle in a league of her own...
Greetings from Dublin Ireland brother and sisters
This may be my favorite rendition of this song...brilliant moment@4:40, and great balance of full rhythm and crystalline leads - thanks, Molly!

virtuoso guitar and angel like voice and looks, amazing, thanks Molly
I'm afraid to listen to her next song, because every time I hear one of them it stays in my head for hours, if not days! What a great talent!
I was searching for a video about the Grace Design Felix and discovered an amazing talent.
Love the song. Lyrics are powerful. Thanks Molly.

Anyone know if she's playing Daddario Nickel Bronze strings these days?
Take my money Grace, dang it $$$$$
Molly is the female Tony Rice. Enough said. Pure, beautiful flat-picking, and that voice...
That's an apt comparison , I like it very much

Eat your heart out Taylor Swift :) LOL
Taylor who?
Yea no kidding!
Molly would not be down with bashing Taylor or any other artist
Eric Hart Taylor swift’s not an “artist “ so it’s cool
@@Iron-and-strings , You do not understand art.
She is fantastic and she also has the longest little finger ,check it out!
Amazing guitarist & sings like a Lark.

Molly, marry me.

T Swift got nothing on those solos
Those legs tho...
$1000, for a preamp eq yikes !!!!
