The reason why the top players are using the Windwril is because they're competing for the Ranks, in Shura Mode the faster you complete it the higher the points. Thus, the Windwril is the top choice because it's the highest DPS weapon.

If it that perk from swordsman, you deal more posture dmg but your own posture is reduced.

I prefer moon sword currently, it's so satisfied when you hit enemies and their hp be like whoosh~
