I have severely restricted patellar mobility up and down, with some grinding, when I manually move my kneecap with my hands. no issues side to side. Will this help fix my problem?

I can sit all the way down but feel pain when starting to move up from the bottom. These are things I've been doing for a while and they help alleviate or prevent the pain. I've neglected them lately
I just did it and it worked great. severe tension, 2 mins about 85% relief

how if any, does this change if ROM is severely limited at 95
making the movements much smaller and little more dynamic (less static hold) can help accommodate the lessened ROM there.
