John grant speaks to that part of you that tells you you're worth nothing, and holds it with is voice. There's a rawness and a vulnerability to his image, a vulnerability that we all struggle to show. I love this song because we all feel like an idiot for letting people into our lives sometimes, and he makes it okay
Effin-A dude! Losing it, I am hearing this song. Mince no words or anything. Then serve them up in a beautiful ballad. Like a kick in the groin with a sweet smile. And I can't stop listening.
Wish i could write music like him , have alot of respect for this man. This record remind me a bit of 69 lovesong , wich is the one of the best record of all time.
I have listened to this song, and ' Where dreams go to die' many times. The musicianship is so good, and the apparent struggle with the demands of the piano score.. I see a massively demanding schedule ahead in concerts for Grant. I hope I will catch him in Auckland for his March concert there. Either that or I just get on Amtrak rail and get off where the next concert is.
Wonderful - Elton shining through - but John´s voice (is it a baritone voice?) is so pleasantly pleasing and soothing. Not as scratchy in the low range like that of Rufus - not that shaky and baroque like that of Antony - wonderful!
I could listen to John Grant for a billion years.
Two billion for me

O ano é 2023 que estou a descobrir essa obra de arte😊😊😊 i AM really in love
'Easier' sold me on JG. The simplistic ballad is perfection. Half the 200,000 views are probably mine.
absolutely fucking devastating. just got turned on to JG yesterday and haven't stopped playing both albums. I have sobbed from this stuff!
sissy. (just kidding)
Be sure to check out the Czars (Goodbye) as well. He fronted the band before going solo.
Endless repeat!
my wish of the world to stop and take time to listen to the humility of the genius of this man.
Beautiful man, beautiful music.
John Grant is a masterful artist for the ages
I think that this is my favourite song from Queen of Denmark, one of my favourite albums.
Loses nothing in this setting.
Marvellous.
Simply perfect
He seems to sing what I'm feeling and going through x
John Grant is gold! ! Love him. Beautiful voice, lyrics and beautiful man!
Impossibly touching. Grant is on top of his game .Queen of Denmark is remarkable but whoa, what a ride!
My favourite singer/songwriter right now.

What do you mean by "the apparant struggle with the demands of the piano score" ?
Lot of Elton John in this piano play...love it
Yep. Song for Guy. Beautiful.
Loving the session. John on solo piano and voice is chilling!
Truly beautiful song from John's Queen Of Denmark album... Always thought he would make it after hearing his fine work with The Czars..

Imagine if we just did the easier things. Nobody would play a piano or make a record.
Nina Simone!!! That is what this reminds me of!
