John Grant is one of my favorite artist. His vulnerability makes me cry sometimes. Wonderful song, amazing lyric, so honest. A musical genius that hard childhood has not beaten down (nearly) to death. He loves Iceland.

His voice reminds me of Brad Roberts of the Crash Test Dummies along with Raul Malo of the Mavericks. He has such a great tone that is so pleasing to the ear!

Anyone who is strong in their approach to their work will always divide opinion. It is only the bland which perhaps has general appeal. To me and many others this man is a genius but if you don't like him just ignore him. He has had enough shit in his life and doesn't need to cope with comments by people who should just move on past to something/someone they like. As the old saying goes"Each to his own"

@PaulCoolhugs It sounds like an anthem to me, a real classic. Maybe you don't like americana. The lyrics are great. I like that he names the actors instead of the characters, as it's really about the absurdity of playing in a horror movie.

I was a security guard at his show in Iceland 2 days ago. Unfortunately I had never heard of him and expected him to suck like all the other bands at Airwaves so I decided to stand outside the building :(

Yes, it's Keanu Reeves. His attempt at an English accent in that film was one of the most awful things I've ever heard.
