We are in our final stages for Aliyah. Had our interview last week. Some challenges came up do to missing documents.
Making Aliyah is always a challenge because one has to earn it. It’s a gift from HaShem to be able to make Aliyah.

Thank you for sharing and keeping it real. Sometimes it is hard to be joyful in some situations, but staying humbled is important for me personally. Learning to be trustful, confident and content with God’s power in my life has forced me to be grateful. Much love from Boston ❤.

Hey 👋🏾 Faye! Thank you so much for always taking the time to watch. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
You are an amazing couple. May Hashem continue to bless you.
From NY
Thank you very much! Gd bless you also🙏🏾
This popped up, and I was so happy to see something cheerful from
Israel!! (Even tho my daughter lives in Emek and is very happy!)
But a couple of things....
1. LOL--You don't need to fly to another country to go to the dentist, lol! So funny!! I do get it was the last appt, tho! (Altho, where were you that you were 40 mins from Western???)
There are plenty of great English speaking dentists in Israel! Happy to recommend ppl if you need any names! And many are originally from LA or go back and forth and work in both places, as many do.
2. I am not sure what the current rules are for Olim driving the vehicle of ISR citizens, but pls check it out!!! It's very kind of people to lend theirs out, but some don't know that they can't.... pls just check the current laws, with your insurance agent, or Nefesh B'Nefesh!!
3. You have not truly experienced the Aliyah of someone from abroad, new to Ulpan, until you are in the SuperSol, trying to figure out which floor cleaner to purchase or whatever, and suddenly you just become totally overwhelmed and lose it, and become a puddle of tears in the Super! Regardless of who is sees, what others think of you or what you are doing, you just start bawling! I am sure it is better with the invention of all of the translation apps, from photos, etc, but it's not the same...... anyways, it is TOTALLY NORMAL!! It has happened to EVERYONE!! Think of it as a rite of passage!
4. Lastly, your son's leining sounds great!! Much nachat! And I hope I am not too late, but just FYI, a few tips....many people will generally organize with their photographer to meet at the shul the week prior with the BM boy and family all dressed up, and they open the aron/bring the sifrei Torah out, and the photographer will take pics of his Abba looking over the BM boy's shoulder as he is pretending to lein up on the Bima. Typically done right after shacharit one morning so they still have their tallesim on, etc. But generally take tefillin off for the photos (don't wrap too hard that AM or they will leave marks for an hour, lol!). When you call the shul to arrange for the shamash to be there when you need, and possibly the Rav to be present for a few pics, ask them what they recommend. And ask your Rav what the minhagim typically are (although you can start you own new ones, remember!!). And of course, ask your photographer!
And if you're wrapping tefillin for the first time and to make the bracha at the kotel, then of course you want your photographer to be there as well! I still enjoy all those pics when I look back at them! Even tho I know the "Bar Mitzvah" pics were all "staged"! Some in Israel do it the same way we do in LA, or NY, Miami, etc., and I am sure many don't. Israel is always much more laid back. It depends a lot on one's guests too.
AND ..... if I am "too late", remember as it is all "staged", and these ideas are new, you can still do it after! If you want it at at all that is (I am a planner, which is why I am so focused on the details, lol!). But either way, he sounds great!!
KK, anyways, be safe, keep well, and pls let me know if you do do need any referrals or even ideas or more tips. Happy to help!
What a beautiful family inside and out!
Mom is very beautiful. Good luck and peace
Love you all❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤congratulations I’m sure you’re all loving Israel- say hello to yom tov glazer. You will definitely find a connection with him and his family
Love ya back!
We aren’t there. BzH September
Thanks!
Thank you so much for this! We really appreciate it
Welcome Welcome Welcome to the Israel your home land ❤️❤️❤️
Wish you only the best and all the blessing 🙏🏻✨🦋🙂
Another beautiful video from House of LEV, thank you! Look into it though, I've heard it can actually be worthwhile to import a car from the USA to Israel - taxes are 117% on a car (you get to take off the 17% as an oleh, but it's still 100% duties), but I think shipping a "2nd hand" car doesn't incur that - even with shipping expenses I've heard it can be cheaper. Also not sure what car you'd want, but some models aren't available here, especially bigger mini-van style cars are limited availability.
Beautiful to see you praying Mincha! Proud Jews!
Waiting to see your vlog coming to Israel, I hope you can celebrate next independance day here with everyone in Israel! 🇮🇱
What a sweet and handsome young son! it’s a joy to watch your videos; a break from all the stressful videos that I’ve been watching about everything going on in Israel and Gaza. ♥️🇮🇱♥️
Bless you! 🙌🙌 Thank you

It’s possible! Start with LOTS AND LOTS OF PRAYER! 🤲 Poir your heart out to Hashem everyday. That’s the best place to start

He is doing so well BH. Just amazing family! Ahm Israel chai💕
Thank you
Absolutely amazing family❤
You are so kind. Thx so much
OMG these kids are just so cute! ❣️
Aww thank 😊
Shalom Family I bless Hashem that you are well and that you all made home safely. I don't know the type of car you have but it might be worth checking the transmission cable. It runs from the transmission underneath the car to the shifter. Over the years it can become worn if that happens the transmission will not shift correctly . Easy fix and way cheaper.
Shalom
Very thoughtful of you. Thank you so much
Beautiful ❤️ Will be joining you guys soon!!!!!
Awwww thx for the donation! So sweet of you! We greatly appreciate the love and support! ❤️😊
Love you guys. Best to keep hands out of pockets davening mincha!
The critiques are always coming. Please take that somewhere else
[I asked this on vlog #1 but maybe you didn’t see it. All G, I am early this time 😊]
Not in any way a criticism of you Akiva and Chava (luv y'all and your content to bits, so inspiring) but I am very curious how Leah and Betzalel feel about the move to Israel, I realise it is some years away because both are still in high school but as citizens of Israel will they not be required to do national service [correct me if I am mistaken] ?
The younger bubs will obviously grow up aware and ready for this eventuality, not knowing any different, but how do your older ones feel that in 2-4 years time they will be soldiers? How do you as parents feel about this?
I pray for peace as much as the next person, that no Jew ever need lay down their lives again but the threats nonetheless persist.
With Hashem's grace we will triumph but still how does everyone feel beyond the excitement, as there is some very serious, even scary, consideration as a parent and as a teenager to be made.
Such a beautiful family and Chava your outfit is stunning. Wishing you all many blessings.
Hey 👋🏾! We trust Hashem. If they’re suppose to serve then they will. My son however is planning to learn in Yeshiva!
Mazel Tov! To the most amazing family in the world, only Nachas from your beautiful family!
You’re the best🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Thank you so much! Hope to meet someday
ברוכים הבאים, בהצלחה אהובים❤❤
Thank you
Shkoiach! So beautiful what you said around minute 16:08 of the video, about aliyah! 💙🇮🇱💙
Mazal Tov for your son's Bar Mitzvah!
in Eretz Israel you will find out that it's not a Jewish practice to use candles on birthday cakes. We light candles, don't blow out the candles... there are those who does anyway... your children will have many friends and will see what they do.
Also you will enjoy Tu BeAv , the day of love, usually a day for friends and families love, not only for romance - this is our day of everyone - as everyday is mother's day, father's day, etc, differently from this mother's day in diaspora.
Shkoiach! 🙂💙🇮🇱
Love the vids! Keep it up 👌❤
Thx Justin! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I love your family❤
We love you back
Think about Bet Shemesh. There are a lot of Americans here, it's got a wide spectrum of religious Jews, and it is stunningly beautiful. And there is good transportation to places like Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Because there are a lot of Americans, English is spoken everywhere, and you can easily blend in with the other Americans. There are a number of shuls here that are predominantly English speaking people.
Definitely a strong consideration
Welcome home ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful Children 💝🙏
Beautiful kids!!
Usually the bar mitzvah boy has his last lesson in the shull from the sefer tora so he feels comfortable. U can film him then if u want to. ( that's what I did with my sons 😉) he is doing a great job👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
B/H about your son's upcoming Bar Mitzvah! Your emunah what beautiful souls you have what faith!
Thank you! 😊
@@houseoflev 🥰
Beautiful ❤
Happy birthday!
Thank you so much!
We really appreciate this!
Adorable good luck
When things happen that seem bad to us. We don't ask Hashem Lama ( why) we should ask Lema ( for what - reason) then we know how to move forward and what Hashem is expecting from us
My son just had his bar mitzvah. If he reads in shul on the Thursday before, you can film it. That's what we did.
MAZAL TOV
Mazal Tov! Thank you

What do you guys do for work 😄🥰 Love all your videos!

The Consumer Assistance Program's (CAP) vehicle retirement option offers eligible consumers an incentive to retire their operational vehicle. Consumers meeting the income eligibility requirement may receive $1,500 for each vehicle retired. Also, Eligible consumers may receive up to $1,200 in emissions-related repairs at a STAR test-and-repair station if their vehicle fails its biennial Smog Check inspection.

It’s possible. Just making sure it all makes sense. Every penny matters at this point 😄
Very proud of your son. Torah reading is not easy.
He’s working very hard. Thx so much
