Agreed, I never thought in this time where we have more knowledge available to us, past mistakes and wars that we have learnt from and all understand that discriminating anyone, if that be for their religion, their place of birth, their gender, colour of their skin or if they have differing views to ourselves. The ignorance and aggression out there as well as the lack of humanity has really disheartened me. I have lost my faith in people and I’ve always wanted to see the good in people but at 54 I’ve seen the light and there are so so many human beings out there with dark souls.

People we know for a fact Jewish students with paid tuition were blocked from attending classes and even finals. We have vids with mothers calling the police to help students get there and the police were told to stand down. What college it was I dont remember but there is documentation. Sue and document whomever. There is no place this should be allowed in America. If not fought it gets worse for all.

A few years ago, I was in a beautiful museum in Krakow that displays amazing judaica pieces that belonged to the Jewish community there, which was exterminated during the holocaust. Shows you what depth and beauty those communities of the diaspora used to have. The world is after us once again. We can all feel it in our bones. Even those of us who only heard stories from the elders and haven't experienced it first hand.

Jewish students (and staff) should get together and file a huge class-action lawsuit against all universities who aren't protecting them. Allowing harassment and persecution of students based on their religion is against the law and not covered under "free speech"..

we’ve always dealt with antisemitism, campuses are no different. but it’s the hypocrisy that bothers us. if they’re going to expel students for hate speech against other minority groups, they should at least have a consistent enough policy that Jews are included in that. for them to bring up free speech is like some twilight zone shit

It is mind boggling to me that so many wealthy Jews actually donated hundreds of millions of dollars to this disgusting institution. It is a testament to what people will do for status -- even if it means causing great harm to themselves and their ethnic and religious group. I think it is time for American Jews to think about leaving the U.S. if this gets any worse -- which it probably will. At the very least we need to rethink what it means to be "educated" and where.

In my view I think its time to start acknowledging that American Jewry actually thinks of themselves as Jewish Americans, and not the other way around. Most will continue to identity themselves as American, see Jewish acceptance as inevitable in how American progression works. Maybe practice Judaism, but not a part of the Jewish people. I am Swiss originating from a Christian countryside background. I don’t know why but since my childhood I have always been very sympathetic to Israel and the Jewish people. All along my life I have felt this way and I do so even more after October 7th. And I really blame myself belonging to the silent minority. I started watching this in the middle of the night (couldn't sleep) and when I went off on my morning walk, my heart felt so much lighter. I write about anti semitism and anti Zionism several times a week to make circle of friends and Facebook. My children are mixed race, and i graduated with a MA in 2021. He went to DEI to complain. I am opposed to DEI and see it as the root of the problem. White students, Asians, and conservative black students have also been given second class status. We must end all bigotry. BLM had bigotry within its ranks. We must demand dignity for everyone and yet DEI is divisive and selective.

Visited Poland & checked out synagogues wherever possible. I’m a Hindu from Kochi where Jews arrived 2K yrs ago and our Jewish synagogue there is still functioning w a roaming Rabbi & kochi Jews from Israel come all the time. It was sad to see the Poznan synagogue abandoned after Nazis made it into a swimming pool. Visited the Maghreb David synagogue in Kolkata early this year. So beautiful, Jewish weddings happen there even today. If you visit Poland for Jewish history, visit India too & learn a completely different history of Jews there! It’s important to know.
