Hi Cody, Absolutely love watching your videos. Have gotten a diverse review of various BCI and Fnirs headsets. Also looking forward to the review of Mendi.
This costs about $39,000 based on the quote I got back in 2019. Also there's additional costs like cognitive tasks, training etc. gets the total costs to like $50k, I believe this is before tax/vat.
I think the HEGduino V2, while only single sensor, can be placed at different points. There was also a hackaday semi finalist that was trying to use fNIRS to allow research that normally required an fMRI
Dr am unable to understand what you people are telling .dr please make a video on tms machine as am suffering from brain stroke paralysis since 5years and my arm and leg is not working properly. This device helps me.
Wow! My business management professor was talking about using fMRI to find the perfect successor candidates for CEOs and high level management team. This device might be able to open that area up to a deeper level!! Trainee and the trainer can both wear it and compare notes(brain activity)! Scary advancement! I wonder if people can wear it during sex to have the most amazing sexual experience too. (Most likely not the right region for this device)
At 16:58-16:59 were u having a gratitude thought to test out the asymmetry brain activity at the frontal area? Cuz I saw the right frontal lobe light up for a sec there right after you guys had the asymmetry conversation.
When you have an EEG device, like the Muse, is it precise enough to show a similar graph in activity when you're doing math like you did here? Or will all the 4 channels just saturate?
Tens of Thousands unfortunately. It's because they don't have as much demand for their supply as they theoretically could. If there was higher demand for the neurofeedback community, I think cost would come way down. I'll have a video coming out on it soon.
Thank you! Re-Do video Feedback: show more and bigger the data on the screen than you guys This video is super important for this tech. Please do a video on OpenWater’s tech please!...

So could that device already be used to use it as a BCI and getting ready for Full Dive Virtual Reality if it was cheaper? (Would bi directional Brain communication be possible?)
Mind Mirror is 'ok'. It's only TWO channels of EEG. That is somewhat low resolution these days. They display a histogram / FFT of the spectrum for each hemisphere. In terms of modern signal processing, that is also somewhat on the low scale these days. It's not a platform that lends itself to user friendly apps such as Muse. You basically need a friend to watch your FFT spectrum during the session, if you want a simple form of biofeedback.

Cody Rall MD with Techforpsych I actually agree with Alexander’s recommendation. Your channel name is difficult for others to remember when I recommend your channel.
“We want to make them cheap and accessible for big data”!!! Hello people ! You do know what that means and what the ramifications are don’t you? Anyone? Lol

I know it's so exciting!!!
Hi Cody, Absolutely love watching your videos. Have gotten a diverse review of various BCI and Fnirs headsets. Also looking forward to the review of Mendi.
Thanks for the support Mayank! Just got Mendi and am testing now.
Cody, when might we see a video from you and Mendi? I am considering it. Also, when do you think we may see a video from you on the Muze S Gen 2?
This costs about $39,000 based on the quote I got back in 2019. Also there's additional costs like cognitive tasks, training etc. gets the total costs to like $50k, I believe this is before tax/vat.
yeah all friggin set! there's a DIY before I'd spend that!
@@irock5624 > NinjaNIRS, baby!
Is this still the price?
Want to know how to order this product and cost
I think they needed to film the subject as well when they do a brain recording so it's easier to track down specific events.
Sounds like a good idea
woaw u can really hold still!
Hey, incredible video! What are your thoughts on Mendi?
Will be reviewing it soon!
@@CodyRallMD Are they shipping them yet? I ordered mine on IndieGoGo but no word on a release date..
@@CodyRallMD any updates regarding Mendi?
Hi Cody, are any new fNIRS options for clinical use that don't use only the observation of the frontal cortex?
I think the HEGduino V2, while only single sensor, can be placed at different points.
There was also a hackaday semi finalist that was trying to use fNIRS to allow research that normally required an fMRI
Life changing. Thanks again for the amazing videos Cody
Glad you liked it! I can't wait for more advanced fNIRS to become more mainstream
Outstanding! Looking forward for the next video on pricing etc. All the best from Brasilia, Brazil! :D
Thanks so much for your support
Where can I get me one of these 😍?
Thanks for your reviews and meditation tips. Could you review Dreem2 EEG?
working on it! Thanks for your support
hello, this is impressive innovation. Any update on device pricing?
I'll have to see! I'm anxiously awaiting better priced fNIRS options. They are coming!!! :)
I love your enthusiasm.
Thanks Spencer :)

Clinical TMS is outside of wearables at the moment. Good luck!

Haha that would be interesting
At 16:58-16:59 were u having a gratitude thought to test out the asymmetry brain activity at the frontal area? Cuz I saw the right frontal lobe light up for a sec there right after you guys had the asymmetry conversation.
Mostly I was just trying to evoke a relaxation response. Interesting though!

The signal can be separated out but not as well. Less spatial resolution.
Cody ¿ there is any chance to use this device to make de activation of M1?
But what's the price tag?
Tens of thousands currently. In the research phase. My next video will be ideas about bringing cost down. I think it can be done
Needs to be a £500 product for mass assimilation
Does it detects when the brain has nflammation?
What is the price ?? Is that possible to buy it as a private person??
Hi, this review is really interesting ...
What is the name of your guest?
Would any of the devices good for fixing addictions? That is another big market as.......... Most people are addicted to something.
Agreed! Stay tuned for an interview coming out this week with a 30+ year neurofeedback veteran who used it for addiction rehab

Does this device have a name? Was it mentioned and I just missed it? If it has a name what is it please?
Any idea on price ? Also interested to see. If it could measure focus/concentration

Can you please tell us the price of this device?
It depends on what is negotiated. I have another video on that if you search for it.
I am PHD medicine physics and I want that buy this helmet how can be that I buy.
Hi Cody, can the data be exported
Will this help sleep
Have you heard of MENDI from Sweden? It's supposed to use fNIRS.
Yes I am in communication with them thanks!
Does it provide raw data to process on Matlab like programs?
Yes he said it can export the data in multiple formats
Thank you!
Re-Do video

Sounds like same principle how an oximeter works.
Somewhat... but I would say more complicated.
Love the video. How much does it cost? Did you ask?
Their website has "Request a quote button". I'm sure it will be in the range of thousands.
It's tens of thousands unfortunately. I'll talk more about it on a vid coming up really soon. We need to get the price down as a community.

@@CodyRallMD That would be awesome!
Let's mess with people's brains, because every time humans experiment on the body it turns out great. LMAO
Like insulin for diabetics? Or penicillin for infections? Those turned out pretty well I think.
Why don’t you answer the questions on where to buy it ????????????????????
So could that device already be used to use it as a BCI and getting ready for Full Dive Virtual Reality if it was cheaper?

Have you ever heard of the "Mind Mirror"?
I have, I need to look more into it

Cool video.
I recommend changing the name of the channel to techforpsych only
Why?

Mental math trick: double and half 15 X 12 --> double one side and half one side. 30 X 6. Do it again 60 X 3 ----> 6X3 = 18 and then add a 0. = 180
They stole my idea lol!
seems pretty great however , incorporating wifi on a wearable head device should be a big NO....:/
Interesting point
there it is infrared detection.. just what i was looking for to constrain gang stalkers redux.
You can answer a simple calculation like 12x15 ....OMG 😳😳😳😳
I have a very low IQ

Jackie Chan gone wrong lol
Yeah, too bad you need a PhD to get funding
Or build a company
Why are you nodding while they have not said anything new yet?
Stupid comment
Hey Cody! How are you? I have text you on the instagram! :) could you reply when u have time! Thanks bro! 🏆
