hi! i also don’t have a choice of “layer” or “brush”. when i click on halftone in an empty layer, it just says “layer empty”. if ur wondering if my procreate is up to date, well it doesn’t have the update button on the app store. and mine’s version in ver 5.3.1 (idk if thats up to date) but yes i was wondering if i could fix that in a setting somewhere… also yes my apple pencil is compatible with my ipad.
Anyone know how to undo half tone without just undoing because I cant do that anymore I’m too deep in I decided to half tone my line art before coloring which wasn’t smart and I would prefer coloring with regular lines..
At 1:40 how was the b/w gradient tone made???? I'm able to use half tones effectively and make my own tone brushes in procreate - but this gradient look eludes me.

2:25 I don't see a "pencil" or "layer" option when I click the Half-Tone adjustment,only the three screen type options on the bottom.
Is your procreate app updated to most current version?

Procreate doesn’t allow me to use Halftones as a brush, only as a filter…
