I went here in 1986 I was 7 still remember it like it was yesterday so clearly. Me my mum dad my brother and 4 sisters. My mum dad no longer with us. So this I hold close thank you for this video X ❣️
Thx so much for posting this, and such an unforgettable experience even today several decades later. Perhaps also worth mentioning is the initial 'setup', with the slow descent underground, until finally you find yourself right in front of the lake in this sort of underground stone amphitheater. Then when everyone is finally seated, after a few moments the lights are slowly dimmed to pitch black, and with the caves already so eerily quiet anyway, the total darkness almost feels like being in a sensory deprivation chamber. But after awhile, your eyes and ears slowly adjust to the darkness and silence... until you can start to see faint lights approaching in the distance, along with the barely perceptible sounds of classical music. And gradually the source of both becomes clearer and louder, as the small parade of lit rowboats slowly glides into view, each complete with its own oarsman and string musicians performing the baroque classics. And of course the natural acoustics are also incredible... even as the music and illuminated boats all continue on their away, only to eventually disappear once again into the caves at the other end of the underground lake, just as magically as they first appeared. Grazie!
Hi Everyone, I was there last year. I'm sure like most, you'd no idea you were even going to see this? I remember sitting down and thinking..... Why? WOW My jaw dropped after I realised LOL Where the music came from. The first tune they played....... For those of you who are film fans..... At the start of Coming To America where the violin players play music to wake Eddie's character up. That's what they played. Think I must of been 1 of a very few, knew right away what it was.
