Today's video is one that I never expected to be making for the channel! A few weeks back I was invited out by the White House for the unveiling of the holiday decor for 2023. I genuinely thought the email was spam and after a few emails back and forth, I quickly realized it was the REAL White House! I only got to spend an hour inside so I tried to capture as much of the decor, furnishing and finished to share here on the channel with all of you :)

Hi Lori, I don't often respond to someone else's comments on their video, but I caught yours and wanted to clarify something... Drew and I were 2 of the 6 influencers invited to The White House. TRUE... But of the 6 of us... 4 were from TikTok and only Drew and myself were selected from UA-cam. You are correct... It was indeed an honor. We both were pretty excited about it.

Drew, amazing video! I loved the historical footage of Christmas’s past! What a wild and uncertain ride that was…Neither of us were certain if the invitation was real. But we both took a leap of faith, deciding it was worth what turned out to be an opportunity of a lifetime! I’m glad we finally met after all these years. I live in a small town in Oklahoma and one of my special friends was invited to decorate a tree. She was an avid crafter and I believe she was nominated by one of her sons!She did go to the White House and had the time of her life.
My mother was born in a very small town in Oklahoma, and when my grandparents were still alive, we would travel there from our home in Northern Virginia (my dad worked for the U.S. Department of the Interior) back to that little Oklahoma town for Christmas. Wonderful memories. I wish I could go back and live it all over again.
At first I said "Oh NO you didn't"😀 Then I preceeded to watch the video. Now I have to watch it 3 more times because it was so stunning. What a memory for you and a treat for us. Thanks for taking us along and I am so happy that you were selected/invited to go to the White House.

It's amazing what can be accomplished when money is no object. Each area was stunning but I especially liked the feeling of walking under the Christmas tree with all the decorations hanging down. That was really fun.
