The anticipation is real! I’ve never been so nervous to show a space, let alone an entire home I redesigned! This entire transformation was a dream project of mine and I’m so thankful the Sonza Family allowed me the creative freedom to makeover their beautiful home. It was such an amazing, stressful yet rewarding experience! I loved how their home turned out and I couldn’t of done it without the help from UA-cam + Wayfair. Hi Lone Fox Family! We finally reached the last episode in the series with the big reveal! I honestly would never thought I would be in a UA-cam Thumbmail, and even more special it's with my beautiful wife and amazing daughter! Jennifer and I couldn't sleep the previous night because of the anticipation of the reveal. We knew Drew was working so hard that evening and in the morning, so we were extremely excited as to what he had in store for us. Drew, Justin, his father, and Marie went above and beyond with every aspect of the home. We watched the video in the new living room he designed and it felt like an "Inception" moment to be watching the reveal video in the living room, as he was sitting there on the same couch we are currently all on!
My wife and I spent the entire morning reading all the comments and I'm so flattered by all the one's about my reactions! We were both genuinely surprised, humbled, grateful, and happy with everything Drew and his team did! I am an expressive person and we actually let Drew know that prior to the reveal, I even apologized in advance in case I got too giddy. My wife and I have an inside joke about always wanting to have a "John Quiñones" moment in our lives. John is the host of a show titled "What Would You Do?" and the reactions that people have are so fun and real on the show when he reveals a situation was setup. I always told my wife that if something like that happened to us in real life, I would probably have a similar reaction amplified by a billion. This is our "John Quiñones" moment.
Yes, I love the new sinks and our kitchen faucet. I enjoy doing the dishes while watching a show on my tablet and the faucet that came with the home had pressure that was off and was extremely basic. I did not even expect Drew to install any plumbing hardware into the home, so this was a total shock for me!
Prior to Julia being born, we took a lot of classes for new parents and we actually have a Baby Proofing shopping list ready to go once Julia is ready to venture outside of her play space. Mando's crate will find a space in the home, for now he actually enjoys taking naps on that runner rug by the entrance and he sleeps next to Julia's crib in the evening in our bedroom, so he's okay without his room for now.
My office space is everything I wanted. I am looking to build a new computer, ordering parts here and there where I can afford to between bills and other necessary expenses for the family. As a teen and young adult I didn't really care for how my setup looked like, but now I'm trying to watch videos on how to do cable management and keep my work/play space organized and tidy. I definitely want to add a picture of Jennifer and Julia on the desk, but Drew read my mind in regards to the family portraits on the wall! I had a pretty rough work day this past Thursday, so it was a breath of fresh air to turn the chair around and see everyone important in my life. It's actually a pretty neat contrast to have a dark room and these white frames of my wife, daughter, and dog. It's like the room highlights that these are the light of my life. I look forward to when Julia is older and if she wants to take a nap in the office while I work she can just lie down on the couch, maybe knock out to some Blue's Clues!
Julia's room is actually one of our favorite spaces Drew did in the entire home. The wallpaper is so beautiful, it's really a sight to behold when you see all the details of it up close. For me, it almost feels like walking into a forest! The wooden mushrooms are such a cute touch! Julia is already practicing taking her naps in the crib, I'm sure she'll enjoy the blankets and pillows once she's older, for now they'll just have chill in the closet and only come out when we have guests over and just want to recreate Drew's initial style for the crib. We read the safety suggestions from some of you in the comments so we will actually be swapping the crib location and dresser so that Julia is away from the curtains. Once she's grown to a safer age we will just swap them back, and when she's ready to decorate the room with her own style then it'll just transform into something completely different! So excited to see how she wants to create her space with her own personal flair! I'll be adding the baby monitor back into her room soon since I will be opting for a standing mount instead of a wall mount since will we be moving furniture back and forth.
Our Master Bedroom is flawless, we wake up every morning now thinking we're in a hotel room! The bed is super comfy, the pillows and blankets feel great! The gold feather/leave fixture is such a cool touch, and having a dimmer in our master is a real mood setter! I know you told us it felt too pink, but I love it. Just like you said in the previous video, the rug and for me, the table and couch pair both of us together so nicely! I actually enjoy a lot of activities, shows, and other things that can be considered "feminine" so when you stated you're trying to pair both masculinity and femineity together in the room actually speaks volumes to me as a person too, not just as us as Husband and wife.
The bathrooms just have their own style and I absolutely love it! The mirror is super fun, a true statement piece for our guests! The new faucets for both bathrooms are amazing! I have never had elevated bathroom faucets growing up, but always thought it was so cool when I would visit friends and family with their updated fixtures. It's something so simple but I can't express how grateful it was you did this extra step in the makeover. The Vanity is everything for me! Its warmed my heart to see Jennifer getting ready the past couple of days there! We went from a broken down piano stool to a Drew DIY Vanity stool! I love that we have a one of a kind furniture piece done by Drew! Taking out the glass and adding the shelving and wash cloth rack is so unique and we love it. Poopuri has always been my best friend since living with Jennifer, so I will continue to use it excessively since we have that open space. I actually love the glass removal because we would have to pause conversations when I would need to use the bathroom (since we can barely hear one another due to the glass), now we've had seamless talks even while I am taking a number in there!
We want to thank you all for watching the transformation of our home, for all the kind words, and for supporting Drew! We entered this contest not thinking we would win, Jennifer already staining the cabinets and us budgeting out our finances to get rid of the popcorn ceiling as soon as possible. We are beyond blessed and grateful Drew selected us to be his first "clients" and to be his first complete makeover! I have a lot of love and appreciation for firsts: my wife Jennifer was my first girlfriend and my first love, 27 years and I never fell in love with a woman, let alone had a relationship with one until I met her. Thank you Drew for letting us be your firsts on some home projects you haven't had a chance to do! We just got our Christmas Tree this morning and Jennifer is busy looking at ornaments to decorate it with, and we are both trying to find a nice space for it in the house. We couldn't have asked for a greater present this year than Drew and his team to come and redo our house and transform it into our forever home!

i love everything about this home makeover, but the husbands reactions are my FAVORITE! He is just the absolute sweetest and so excited. The home is breath taking. Super cozy and all the neutral colors are just super relaxing. I love this video! They’re all great but this one is indescribable❤
Drew’s talent is stunning. He observed the couple’s style & preferences, really listened to them, and so thoroughly understood their needs and wants that he delivered an amazingly gorgeous and functional home to them. I was actually emotional thinking that not many people truly listen to others. Drew really listened to them and understood them. That’s not common. Drew’s artistic abilities as well as his ability to listen are what make him a superior designer.
When Jerome kept saying "Thank you Drew!" when he was viewing his home office... so wholesome! You tackled the challenges of this home flawlessly, Drew. The nursery was my favorite room.

This is the best reveal I have seen. Seriously! I kept thinking that Jerome was going to hug Drew and break him in half. Drew, you did such a great job. This home is stunningly beautiful and perfectly balanced. The reaction had me in tears. So much better than HGTV. This was organic and genuine. This was by far the best reveal I have ever seen. I was crying by the end of it, but they were tears of joy! I promise! The best part was Jerome's reaction to everything. I've never seen a grown man bounce around like a little kid at home décor before, and his excitement and gratitude were contagious. You picked the perfect family for this project.
Absolutely obsessed with this channel - after a bunch of new interiors channels, which are same style, this is one is finally how the homes shall be designed - livable space and individual for the each client, with a hint of heart in each detail, with a hint of history in each corner and with a huge attention to how inhabitants live and will live in here. The husband is the best audience for a reveal that I've ever seen. Great energy. What a wonderful reveal. The living room is just amazing--a real work of art. Drew, you just get better and better--and to do it in 10 days! It all feels like it fits together, room by room, into a home. Love the colors, the rugs, the curtains and lights--all of it. Such a great job and feels very livable for them.

Your attention to detail and ability to not only design and style a room, but to make it seem so custom, warm and inviting! All the thoughtfulness with the baby gate for later and the crib that turns into a toddler bed was so sweet. You always seem to consider WHO is using the space and for what, not just giving ppl an unusable aesthetic. I also love that you diy some items, thrift and have new items too. Literally everything is STUNNING!

The hubby being so excited gives me life. :D In the introduction video he was quiet and barely got a word in so seeing him being so happy with the results and geeking out over the practical improvements like the place for the keys and the sink is just wonderful.

Jennifer's excitement while subdued compared to Jerome's was also palpable imo, and was a good inbetween of Drew's nervous first-timer excitement and Jerome's jumping for joy, and Julia just going with the flow really rounded it out 😂10/10 would watch a series like this again, but honestly, Jerome's comments on each video added so much to the experience, idk if a second series could ever quite compare to this one. What a treat!

I remember watching Bob Ross paint and the most exciting part was that it didn't look like all his elements were going to look right and then suddenly...magic! It all came together and was better than you could have imagined. That is what you always do. You make choices that no one else would and in the end it's pure magic. One of a kind. Brilliant. We had just the right amount of pre-reveal videos. This whole-house reveal was a smorgasbord of delight! Yes, I want to see more of these kinds of videos. Your thoughtfulness for the lives of these viewers when you planned their space was touching, and your talent just seems to grow and improve more and more, even after I think you have already "arrived." I'm glad you have the humility to use your talents to serve the folks who entrust you with their space. Occasionally, I notice other designers being too attached to their egos and styles to make the hard choices that are best for the client. Great job all around; it looks beautiful and functional, and you made the family so happy.
