I love myself a good Ikea hack as many of you many know! I'm excited to share with you three incredible IKEA hacks that are perfect for those on a budget and looking for easy-to-recreate projects. Yes, and you can get men’s shirts at a thrift store. And in fact, there are ton’s of frame at goodwill.
😊Yes, 💯% brilliant idea to use both thrifted ♂️Men's shirts & picture frames.
You'd get much higher ⬆️ quality of fabric on dress, flannel, & even utility shirts at a significantly lower⬇️ price point. In most chain 2nd hand stores, you have such a wide range of shirts to choose from too.
✂️You can cut the mat out of thinner cardboard like a cereal or cracker box.

The one with the drawers is such a great storage hack for MAKEUP! Crafts, duh, but imagine assembling it horizontal instead of vertical, it’s literally a tabletop for your vanity. And holds all your makeup!
Oh how the pendulum swings! Fabric covered frames... did it in the 80's!

I also had put 3 little ikea drawers together, secured them with metal plates like brackets in the back.
Covered all the front in handmade indian paper of a bird landscape, as to camouflage the drawers, giving it a holistic look, blending it in. Fabric would definitely work too.
Frames were definitely my favorite, something thats easy, but turns out to be almost unique!! 😊

Gosh they are all so great. Ive been looking around for wall shelves to showcase my gorgeous coffee cup collection and coffee too. Ikea!!! I didn't even think of it. And here you are with those lovely bleed through stripes. I do not like a straight line. It gives me anxiety lol Then the frames opened a whole new world. Thanks Drew.🤩

Drew’s worked so much better because he used a darker colored fabric with a pattern to hide the “issues”. So smart!!
I think all of them are great hacks. I have so many frames and am definitely going to cover some with fabric. I thought the cabinet was great I would use it for craft items. I love the green fabric on the light it gave a moody look. Thanks for sharing Drew. ❤

Loved the little striped chest you created! I was holding my breath when you were arming stripes, afraid you were going to paint. My relief when you did the stain! I loved the tiny dovetails and features on that piece and it would be sad to lose all those. I wouldn't change a thing about what you did with there! ❤
I liked the wrapped frames, too. That was such cute striped fabric! I'm not sure I like both the frame and mat wrapped to match - for me it might need to be one element only - but I didn't hate it, either!
Not a fan of the light. I like the plain rice paper ball better. But that's just me. I can definitely see the possibilities, though! Best of all, you could find remnants at great prices to make the fabric shade. It would be easy to swap out based on seasons or redecorating.
Drew, I consider myself a crafter, but I never thought of staining my beads that way and using them has drawer knobs! Thank you! Always fun to watch your videos!

The CABINET !!!!!! The internal shrieking at every step! There's so much room for personalization (same with the other two really) although I would never be able to hang mine on the wall. Crow Brain would put too many things in the drawers until something failed. Glue, wall attachment, WALL, or the very wood joints themselves.

Also, when sewing jersey fabric, best to use a zig zag stitch since you will be stretching the fabric. The light DIY is my favorite.

Love the little cabinet! I think there was a feathered look at the front because the stripes were perpendicular to the grain vs the top where they were parallel, so there was less bleeding through the grains on the top.
