I have a lot of squash. I will give this a try. Looks easy. Thanks for the video! I am gonna try green tomatoes like this. Just a few to see if it works.
Hi! I just found your channel as I was searching for squash recipes. I enjoyed your video; I have never seen squash prepared this way for the freezer. I have quite a bit of squash to prep today, so I will be trying your method! I'm not sure of your name, but I thank you and have liked/subscribed :)
A little fan shadow never hurt anyone, long as it keeps you cool while cooking 🥵 Some people just aren't happy unless they can find something to complain about.. Oops see what I mean. Giggle. No really, thank you for sharing this, I am def. going to do it.
Yes, 450 degrees until golden brown. Thanks Dmarie. Here’s another biscuit video you may enjoy too. Homemade biscuits ua-cam.com/video/8tcYHQqZ7d4/v-deo.html
I made some in my air fryer, just salt & pepper, it was good. I salted the slices & left overnight, drained the water from them, dried off with paper towels. About 4 minutes each side at 375 degrees. They were different and good. My dogs like yellow squash too.
Do you season these during the breading or after thawing? I tend to hold salt until serving (it’s been years since I’ve had Oklahoma cooking, so I think I’ve turned sensitive to too much of it! LOL) but was curious if you recommend any flavors. Thank you for the video- I have seven yellow squash plants growing (not even including the greens, the pumpkins, the cucumbers, watermelon, or winter squash!) and I’m already thinking I’m going to need to by another deep freeze!
I had fried zucchini for supper last night. I will try some of my squash like you’ve shown. Thank you for sharing!

I'm doing it your way this year
Let me know how it goes! Thanks for watching.
Good to know how.
But the fan above gives the video a bad visual.
Yes. I had no idea that fan did that. I apologize. I’ll try to redo that video one day. Thank you for watching though.
Thank you!
You are so welcome!
I hope your using olive oil or coconut
Is this plain cornmeal?
@@ourforeverfarm Do you use Plain or a mixture?
I use the cornmeal mix. If not the mix I use the self rising white cornmeal.
Just plain cornmeal is fine.
Does this work for zucchini?
Yes!
Aren’t you suppose to blanch squash first?
Blanching squash is great if you are going to use it like boiled squash or in a casserole but this is great for frying. Hope that helps.
Do you thaw?
Yes!!
