Yep. At this point, I think Richard was the best and most recognizable lead singer. The group should have been centered around him at this point. But it wasn't long after this that Louis left and Dennis rejoined the group.
Yeah like @jaylene.turner6524 said he would return a couple months later. This was at the time Kenny Gamble was trying get the group to do a reunion album.
Otis was probably thrilled to be doing doo wop
Being up there with Richard doing that old stuff must’ve taken them both way way back

The sound, the moves, the swag!!! They can’t be replicated!!
Representing all the greats of the old doo wop days, and then when it comes to the Temptations turn: Bare Back! Love it!
Bad Brothers.
This when they were with Atlantic records.
This must’ve been before Dennis returned

He came back a couple of
months later after this.

otis had a decent voice. louis reminds me of a cross between jamie fox and jaheim
Otis part was very smooth.
This is from 1979.
THIS CAN'T BE 1980----LOUIS PRICE WAS GONE FROM THE GROUP WHEN THEY RETURNED TO MOTOWN IN 1980
I would say 1979 is the year of this performance or 1978, perhaps
Thus was 1979
1979
You’ve got any Tamiko jones footage in need that
@Jamarkus Yes!

BareBACK WAS NOT GOOD
Ik right it was great… amazing even
honestly, you're absolutely right it was so repetitive.
I liked seeing Richard Dance to Bareback. Catchy
It wasn’t promoted properly
just like the previous album
“Hear To Tempt You”.
