From my 100 hours of playing on a public server, I have to say, it's a great game for cooperative play. I joined a PvE Public Server, which provided me with the immersive MMO experience I was seeking in a survival game like this. Additionally, the server had a Difficulty x2 rate, making it challenging. I just started again after trying to fix my game settings/rules (for some reason everything was free to build getting rid of any reason to go out to chop trees, mine, etc.).
I've played this game for almost 400 hours now. And I can say that I love it. But there are a few things that I wish where different. A few things that might change, a few things that probably will be added and a few things that will never change. The Camera is one of the things that I wish was different, but isn't and almost certainly will never change, because they'd have to make fundamental changes to the game that would turn it into something completely different. PvP is fun, but Castle raiding needs work. The raiding system is one of the things that have been announced to be reworked before the full launch. And also more stuff to do with the servants. Right now they are just castle defence and slaves to send on missions to get resources. And for the things that might change, are end game systems beyond just building up your castle to be as magnificent as you want. And there are so many decorations in the game but non of them are interactable. These things might change in the future. Other than that, Combat is fun, Building is amazing, the graphics are fine (even though I'm not the biggest fan of the artstyle). For anyone wondering if they should get the game, it is worth it for the one long, satisfying, rewarding play through. The gameplay feels great, the progression is 10/10 compared to other survival games on the market. The crafting combined with the v blood system of progression keeps you busy on two fronts but rewards you constantly with power upgrades, new recipes, and new spells. Building a badass vampire castle overlooking a lake or valley or village is just so cool. But there is no replay value. Nothing is different the second time through, some settings can be tweaked but if you are looking for something extremely long term this game is not it. Maybe you will get a different gem that makes you use a different spell more but… you are pretty much just using the best of what is available to you until endgame. And obviously there are meta builds and really not much reason to progress through the whole game again for the exact same experience over and over each wipe. Again, no one should pass over this game for any reason. This game is incredible.

You can not leave your character in the middle of the sun. you have to build a roof or sleep in your coffin which is also best not in the sun. Because when you log out you are still visible to all other players on the server.
The only thing I don’t like is the castle decay. Set up my own rules to have it go as slow as possible and it’s quite playable now. Also set up 0 equipment durability loss, which is another big plus.
Valheim is more about the building, exploring, and creativity, this game is more about the crafting, combat, and base building. They're both VERY great imo.
We were trying to pick between the two, they feel incomparable because of how perfect they both are at what they do. Definitely some of the best games to exist in recent times
Arguibly the best part about this game is that it came out 100% done on release. Even the open Beta was *clean* , practically no issues. Meanwhile we have so many other conoanies crying wolf about how hard it is to launch a functional game and with all of its content
*B Rising* 😁 Yes the camera is fine when you get used to it. It's not meant to be a free camera cause you can't look up so it would be awkward too, instead it's like an isometric game but with the freedom of spinning the view.
I can understand if people have issues with the camera at first to be honest. It's not bad by any means though, it just need time and practice to get used to. it's especially skill based around the camera in PvP when it comes to aiming your attacks and spells.
V rising - cheap indie game has WASD, can turn the camera, multiple levels of zoom in/out. Diablo 4 - AAA price + battlepass has NO wasd, can't turn the camera, only two zoom levels, it's either "too damn close" or "too close".
did Asmongold played this game recently due to the may 8 release? I just played it my self. game is excellent. chill too when you make your own castle.
one thing to note before diving into this game.. is you are at the mercy of people hosting their own server's.. who could ban/delete.. change your shit on a whim.. OR.. you can go on one of their dedicated servers.. HOWEVER... they reset every 6 months.. so there is no longevity in this game... do what you can in that 6 month window... cause when reset day rolls around.. ALL your progress is GONE.. and you get to start.. .all... over... again. all that being said, it is a fun game.

1v4s are still possible however, the skill ceiling is high
@@Spriktor possible but unlikely if you presume their skill level on a same level.
The tree growing in the open doorway was too much, lmfao.
Let this sink in...a MTX portal made in Unity Engine for Last Epoch costs more than this whole game...congrats Stunlock for making a brilliant game.
Camera is really good it's just diffrent
Also, all the people suggesting the camera mod, it doesn't work anymore
Dude why do we have less options for character customization now? Am I missing something?
I'm surprised that Asmon did more within 2 hours compared to what I did in 12. I just loved roaming around in this game.
THe camera mod is so nice and the update is like insane
Valheim is more about the building, exploring, and creativity, this game is more about the crafting, combat, and base building. They're both VERY great imo.
We were trying to pick between the two, they feel incomparable because of how perfect they both are at what they do. Definitely some of the best games to exist in recent times
Arguibly the best part about this game is that it came out 100% done on release. Even the open Beta was *clean* , practically no issues.
Meanwhile we have so many other conoanies crying wolf about how hard it is to launch a functional game and with all of its content
No one in chat told him to turn the mist braziers off during night?
Blew my mind that he never wrapped his brain around the %
I could tell from the mechanics and animations that this was made from the devs of battlerite
People saying this game isn’t good solo simply can’t stand themselves.
they told you there is a mod for the free camera but the reason i like this camera its good at high level boss mechanics
"that's a girl hairstyle." I have a feeling this won't be said in the near future. lmaoo
Will you make new video on this game now that is 1.0?
1:09:33 speaking like a true Texan
*B Rising* 😁
Yes the camera is fine when you get used to it. It's not meant to be a free camera cause you can't look up so it would be awkward too, instead it's like an isometric game but with the freedom of spinning the view.
Could have sworn this game was fully released but it's still in early access
Did asmon ever play the 1.0 version of the game?
I can understand if people have issues with the camera at first to be honest.
It's not bad by any means though, it just need time and practice to get used to. it's especially skill based around the camera in PvP when it comes to aiming your attacks and spells.
@3:03 that's the same hair style as the ginger witch from Hocus Pocus!
V rising - cheap indie game has WASD, can turn the camera, multiple levels of zoom in/out.
Diablo 4 - AAA price + battlepass has NO wasd, can't turn the camera, only two zoom levels, it's either "too damn close" or "too close".
whaattt I didn't know he played this!?
I hope to see more of these
This game is amazing.. 100 hours so far. I highly highly recommend. It’s my new favorite game period.
my servant was randomized with Tyler as his name.
Asmon, hold the right click camera button while attacking
This man really has permanent tunnel vision
I was thinking about buying this game and this appears on my youtube feed
V Rising 1.0 came out on May 2024 it looks so uch better now.
Its also has new Bosses Location new powers usw.
Please make a video about it.
where is part 2?
I saw "Same hair" moment coming a mile away
I tried a hundred times to reach through the screen cuz I felt like you needed glasses and I was trying to help
1.0 is gonna be insane love this game
Stunlock studios released a game for 20$ that beats most 70$ AAA releases currently.
This was a super fun game. Down for another playthrough. Gamers hmu
did Asmongold played this game recently due to the may 8 release? I just played it my self. game is excellent. chill too when you make your own castle.
Playing this but my computer only can play on low setting. Yours looks so much better lol
3rd person is what I wanted from Diablo for ages.
i thought you played this before?
the beauty of this game is the pvp
one thing to note before diving into this game.. is you are at the mercy of people hosting their own server's.. who could ban/delete.. change your shit on a whim..
OR.. you can go on one of their dedicated servers.. HOWEVER... they reset every 6 months.. so there is no longevity in this game... do what you can in that 6 month window... cause when reset day rolls around.. ALL your progress is GONE.. and you get to start.. .all... over... again.
all that being said, it is a fun game.
3:48 +10,000 Clips
I'll get this game soon it looks fun
The hidden skill for this game is choosing the right server
@@echoesofmalachor3700 Playing solo or with friends on your own server is also a lot of fun if you want to focus on the PVE aspect.
@@DrDanielRoberto "play pve" in a game where pve is easy as fuck and the game was designed for raiding and pvp😂🤡
@@Odyssey636 fk me for having fun, am I right?
I'm not a top down or VAMPIRE fan... however I Love this Game \o/
Can you play with a controller?
Add a werewolf faction hunter faction and the knight faction this game could be even better . A good and fun game for sure.
They’re supposed to do two more big updates like gloomrot before the game officially releases. They’ve done Frankenstein, I could see them going more into werewolves. Aside from the werewolf village in the cursed forest
More V Rising content please!!!!
