I’m guessing you’re in North or northwest Texas to have actual standing snow. My family comes from San Angelo so snow there typically meant icy roads until afternoon. Great video. I have seen ads for winch Bluetooth apps but was suspicious of how responsive they were. This looks pretty impressive.

Can we leave the plug cable on the winch controller unit all the time? If yes will it be affected from mud snow rain etc after some time or it will not?

I wouldn't recommend it. Might ask Warn directly this question they might have done some testing. I don't recommend it because it seems like the controller would be more susceptible to damage or just general wear and tear if it remains connected.
