The Gundam wasn't even stolen. If I remember correctly, the frame got completed but the federation cancelled its development. Then, it was given to the Cima fleet as a favor or something, completed as the Gerbera Tetra, since some workers at Anaheim were still somewhat related to Zeon.
the GP-04 was fudged during the trials, the federation was led to believe it was too specialized in comparison to the GP-01. who wanted an all-rounder MS to compliment the GP-02 "heavy assault" esthetic. as for the "stealing", well AE had to get it to the Cima fleet somehow, and they chose to do it via staged ambush, "destroyed" the frame and it's data mid-combat then rebuilt it as the Gebera-Tetra.
@@LuoSon312_G8 it's more like because GP01 and GP04 has same role in combat. With introduction of GP01fb, EF thought there no need for two MS with same role and choose to stop GP04 development because it more expensive than GP01
I'm just fucking surprised this thing got a mainstream release out at all. I remember when the only way you'd ever see one of these whatsoever was in extremely expensive, exceedingly rare resin-cast garage kits.
Awesome tip about the hand racks is that if you have multiple ver ANIME figures, you can stack them together so that you won't have to scrounge around boxes while looking for different hand types.
I think the figure looks great but my one complaint about the Robot Spirits line is the lack of panel lining. The figures would pop way more with the panel lining filled in like the older msia figures had.
also because the Gundam has number "4" in its name and the number is considered a bad luck in Japan hence its backstory being a scrapped Gundam and later got destroyed as the Gebera Tetra.
I was a bit disappointed this thing didn’t come with the shorter beam rifle the RE/100 kit came with. As sweet as the prototype beam rifle is, it’s really unwieldy. I kinda like having the option of arming it with something more compact.
Honestly, I do not have any issue with the articulation in this figure. Most action figures use ball joints. They're great if they are properly designed. But for a space-use robot, I do not see the need for crazy hips or the ability to do the splits. It just doesn't always make sense in mechas, really.
just realize it now... since gerbera tetra is the gerbera... then it's a gundam with a monoeye... so G-Lucifer really is not the first monoeyed gundam but the Zeta with the zaku head hahaha

@@LuoSon312_G8Kinda similar with Sinanju Stein
Gundam Gerbera once carried out flight trials in the UC Engage game and fought against Cima's Gelgoog Marine

Anaheim wanted to make their money back after Feds said "nah we're not buying that. We got Full Burnen now."

It sucks that there is no HG, and the RE/100 line is basically dead and reprints are far and few inbetween, if at all.
I have a very old Gundam Fix Figuration of this and I love the design. Definatly lacking in more releases
I believe the "wings" are fuselages not thrusters but i could be remembering wrong

You forgot to secure the back wings, there's a peg in the trusters.
sheeesh uploads going out every few days, keep it up!
I had no idea this had a RE 100 release. Nice.
We even have SD version of GP04 before HG lol, c'mon bandai
@xxnike0629xx and are you fine of some HG IBO kits ...
That Re100 Gerbera needs a reprint. Just can't find it anymore
I replaced the legs of the GP04 with the GP03 on mine.
sadly robot damashii is very susceptible to yellowing, if it doesnt, i'll def take this
Very cool design. Shame the white plastic looks so cheap.
Still waiting for the RE 1/100 kit to be reprinted again
dunno how they can't make a MG of this MS, they could just use the gundam 1.5 frame like the GM sniper 2 since this one doesn't have a core fighter.

How tall are robot spirits Gundam figures?

That looks hot!
Needed an easy one today huh? Lol. Don't blame you... just wanted to pick.. 😊
No one tell them that they are fuel tanks 😜 feddie love their long booster style tanks

Unless it's g-gundam! They'll need to hit all of those (highly) unrealistic fighting poses!
Robot Spirits may be great, but the Metal Build Astraea Type F Avalung is greatest.
Stardust memory show is got ruined in the 2 thing
1. Blondie thot
2. The True Color of Elite Federation

Gundam -Zeta- Zeku. Just need to slap a V-fin on it for extra measure.

I second that, I don't see much review of it, I mean it's one of the coolest ARF variations
Thats true, ATR is one of the coolest ARF Variant, but theres barely any review of it alongside NG gold frame @@MrMyNameIsHaha
This seems like something that would get a P-Bandai RG release.
@xxnike0629xx Oh, here you are with your P-Bandai ill-wish spam again LUL
@xxnike0629xx And no surprise that you do it again onto UC stuff LUL
