this will be interesting to watch, I just converted an Enya 40 SS from glow to petrol using a glow plug instead of spark ignition, runs great but gets very very hot

Only if you can find a diesel head that will fit your engine.

Did you save info on stock test run so we can know before and after readings?

I posted a video of this engine running a few days ago, but no. I will be running a completely different prop size with this conversion so a direct comparison is not applicable. ua-cam.com/video/j7Cqts0sIws/v-deo.html I did run an 11x6 prop in this video, I could run that as well but I have a 12x6 on it right now.

So; wHut exactly is a diesel fuel, for converted glow engine? Is it Alcohol based? Petro (Gas for American?)? And why didn't it ever catch on in U.S., when I think it bumped up the torque to spin bigger props?
