Saved files? See them on the tool or when you transfer to ShopStream Connect on the PC? Are you saving on #2 card slot? Might be an issue with the tool... I haven't run into issues of not seeing & seeing saved files.
Yes, saved files. Vantage Pro will not show up on SSC or PC but that could be because I have an older update on my Vantage. Yes, saving to #2. Normally, I transfer to USB from #2 but even that is a struggle since I don't do it that often and it's about as clear as mud! I also, for some reason, can't save movies to #2. I have a 4gig card but always get the "not enough space" message. I'm pondering an update, $430, to the latest version which may help.
I use a 2GB card, but the tool also thinks that the card is full after x-amount of files have been saved. My PC has a CF reader built-in, so I simply transfer when need be. $430 might be worth it... my VantagePro can do stuff that my coworker's can not. I think mine is updated to 2012... will check tomorrow.

Okay, but this video is for the early generation of Verus/Modis/Vantage Pro! I have not verified this on the newer generation of tools mainly because I don't have access to any of them. If you verify that the 5V is available on your tool, please let me know. Thanks!
Baxrok2 I just checked it. The 5 volts is present at pin number 1 on my Verus Edge. 5.14 volts to be exact. Im gonna start collecting my parts to build the cable . The only reason i havent already made one is the fact i didnt want to deal with having to add an external 5 volt power source.Thanks for the info about.
That's excellent! I see now that they also have the white plug in pin number six like my MODIS has. Yeah, that external 5v was a no go for me to! Let me know how it works out for you. Baxrok2 I been meaning to reply back too you. I built my cable for the Verus Edge . Works great. Im useing the 500 PSI transducer with mine. Only change i had to make was to turn my slide connector around opposite of the way your is. I built it identical to yours the first time but quickly realized there was not room for the thunb latch on slide lock connector to fit the Verus Edge in that configuration. So i took it apart and put it back together with the thumb latch on the opposite side and it fit prefect. Over all ive been super happy with the results and have used the In Cylinder Pressure Transducer to diagnose several issues in my shop.I couldn't imagine not having this tool in my arsenal now. I got about $50 total in the whole setup!! THANKS.

When you done the test on the lawnmover what type of hose did you use between the transducer and the spark plug hole? I thought i would use one from an old manual cylinder compression gauge i had but seemingly there's some kind of unremovable schrader valve in it that's giving me unusual readings!
No, I'm pretty sure that any pressure transducer will work. I used a 200 on the 100 range without any problems at the 10:40 mark. 200 was the smallest one I had.
@@weldingjunkie I dont have a 100psi to experiment with but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't calibrate or function properly. Especially since there is a 100psi range to select. Even if it didn't work, a 200 or even 300psi will work just as well.
Sorry. On the Aux jack on the Verus/MODIS/Vantage Pro, you have nine pins. Pin 1 is 5v and pin 5 is ground. If you look on the Aux jack you'll see that they are actually numbered. Using a volt meter set to DCV, you can probe pins 1 and 5 to see the voltage when in the pressure transducer mode. You use that source of power and ground to power your transducer. The photo at the end is essentially a schematic. I'll be making another video at some point to show how to build the cable, hopefully, that will be more helpful. Thanks!

I used the hose from a compression gauge. It was a while ago but I don't remember having any problems with it.
