@27:00 the pressure wave app is cool. Why is it not integrated into the Snap-on software? Your major competitors have this integrated already; pico, autel, and ATS. Catch-up Snap-on
@35:00 the scope needs the ability to overlay vertical lines automatically for me. I want to lay all at the lines, take a snapshot, then add notes. I don’t like the idea of porting my image to another software tool
does snap on sell a kit that has the fittings that hook to the transducer so you can hook up the o2 hole sensor and compression fitting or do need to just go to the hardware store and buy the reducers
Jason i have been struggling to get my 0-100 transducer to display a wave form from a vacuum source.. you mentioned using a differential pressure sensor? I want to start using this method when diagnosing drivability issues. can you point me in the right direction?
I just got my Snapon 0-500 pressure transducer in. I'm practicing on a brand new car and cannot get the same waveform pattern explained in the class, all I get is pressure. I can't see the valves opening and closing. The Snap-On diag truck that came around sold me the transducer and said to use my spark plug adapters and hoses from my leak down kit. I have 18" of hose going from the cylinder to the transducer, is that too much length?
@@SnaponDiagnostics Thanks for the reply I do have it out I rewatched the video again and think my problem was I didn’t have the engine “running” I just put the car in clear flood mode and cranked it over five times
Getting more into in cylinder diagnostics I really wish Snapon engineers would open the restrictions on the scope. I’m getting tired of exporting my data to other programs to analyze the data. All other competitors are have the software integrated. This is enough for me to trade in my Zues for a MaxiSys
russians had postolovskiy, MD lab, diamag scopes 15 years ago with pressure sensors and own software with interpretation of this graphs, snap-on doesn't have this even today, why??

Good Evening Jason Gabrenas
Great tutorial thank you 👍
From Nick Ayivor from London England UK 🇬🇧
Vacuum Impulse from intake manifold is advanced 360° from ignition signal
Good lecture/facilitating
And exhaust pulse is advanced around 150° accordingly
Thanks again Jason

Can I put the waveform overlay app onto my Zeus+?
Since it is only available through the Windows app store, it can't be installed on the tool, since there is no Windows app store.

Make sure there isn't a Schrader valve in the hose. It does take a bit of trial and error.

@16:40 how does the Zues overlay the cylinder numbers
In this case they were numbered in the PowerPoint slide. The tool only labels cylinders when using the ignition scope.
What did you use to adapt the transducer to a spark plug threads in order to do the running compression test?
I used a hose from a Snap-on Compression Test Gauge kit. Just be sure to remove the Schrader valve from the end.
Jason I work out a lot of diesels what's the difference between a 0 and 5000 pressure transducer in the o to? 500 does it matter it matter
The difference is just the max pressure. If you're working with fuel systems over 500 PSI, use the 5000.
Which is better psa adopter or split lead.Or it doesn't matter got verus edge
.
In my experience the split lead gives a cleaner pattern. Either will work, though.
@@SnaponDiagnostics OK 👍
