I like it. I think it looks nice & neatly done. No loud pump noise to talk over either, that's an A+ plus in my book. Wish i could of done that to are pool. But couldn't afford it @ the time. Got a great deal on a 19x9x48 for around $548.00 the box was torn up when they delivered it so they gave us another $289.00 discount back. I just hope when I put the pool up this summer nothing is torn up or missing. So I got a great deal for sure.
Thank you I appreciate it. I’m sure whatever you do will look great. He gets a little stressful when they’re done in your yard is a mess. That’s when the work early begins lol
Nice pool set up. Is that an above ground or semi above ground? I have an above ground from pool factory. I need to bury mine 2 feet on the side where my yard is not level from install. I was wondering if there needs to be drainage with the dirt you put in prior to the stones?
Hey Matt, thanks for the comment. I used tailings from the dig to fill in around the sides that they were done. After it settles, you might need to add a little bit more on the sides then I just put a weed guard down with large stones. Whatever you do do not use small P gravel or mulch because if you need a new liner, it’ll be very difficult to do the larger. The stones the easier it is to move out of the way. If you have any more questions, please let me know.
I brought in filled dirt that was screened because they dug clay up, and I didn’t wanna have any big clumps against the pool. We have done this a few times. This is the lowest in the ground I have put one. If you bury the lines, it’s almost like having an inground pool.
Hey, thanks for the comment. I really appreciate it. The property taxes did not increase because they do not consider it a permanent structure. I really think it is the way to go. I have had three friends do it now gives you a great look for minimal cost.
@@goreyboggs oh that's great men that means that they consider it as fixture that can be put and remove that's great 👍 thank you for the information yes the best way to go I had friend he build an enormous in ground pool and they raise his property taxes.
The pool company dug it and installed it and backfilled. I had to bury all the lines and take it to the side of the house. Much easier though because you’re bringing the equipment to the electricity instead of bringing the electricity to the equipment.
Hey Kristy, it’s for an in ground pool. That’s why I had to do the small 2 step deck. I think the ladder was $200. Might be able to find the model number if you need it.
Beautiful and affordable! Love it.
I LOVE YOUR POOL❤WELL DONE
Thanks so much
Thats a sweet setup
Thanks!
Exactly what we want to do. Thanks!!
Awesome, we love ours. I’m sure you will too.
Beautiful!!!
Looks great. What is the criticism from others you keep alluding to? Simply that the pool isn't made of concrete?
It's beautiful! I love the stairs.
Thanks that added touch was done about a year later

What type of material did you backfill against the pool with? Did you just use dirt or did you do a slurry mix or anything like that?

Did that cost include the concrete skirting and the fence? Looks great.
I wish. Just pool
Nice job men did you had to get a permit to do that pool and did it increase your property taxes at all?

The installation, did you hire some
One or did you do it yourself?

why would you take the pool out and fill it with concrete ???
Just pointing out if I ever wanted to get rid of it, there’s a plan
I can never get used to living next to people with 2 story homes.. give you ZERO privacy in your backyard
Where did you get it for $3500? We’re being told $5700
Pool Town Monroe Michigan
