FEAR FACTORY - A Therapy for Pain - Bloodstock Open Air Metal Festival 2016 Title Track : A Therapy for Pain Ronnie James Dio Stage www.bloodstock.uk.com
The higher register of his singing voice is just fucked from all these years. Even just when he’s talking to the crowd you can tell his vocal chords are utterly destroyed. That must’ve hurt like hell doing that song with the shape his voice is in, a lot more than the screaming throughout the show would’ve.
BCB just cant sing live anymore, his voice is screwed up. I cant go back to another FF gig because of it. Lost count how many times ive saw them live, but they used to play the UK several times a year. First time i saw them was on the Demanufature tour of the 90's.
Stuart Mackie but his growls are still pretty great, i wonder if they'd sound this raw/awesome if he'd use a 'proper' singing technique and got vocal training.. :p I think he'd sound like one of the many many frontmen you can hear today?
i saw then live two years ago in their demanufacture tour and honestly burton sounded incredible, both his screams/growls and his clean singing. He still has it, he's just not as consistent anymore
His growls never disappoint but it sounds like he never uses diagram support on clean vocals making them sound just noob. Weird how he didn't learn that in years, I wouldn't feel great being a vocalist of great band and singing like this.
You can definitely say he is trying so hard
🤣🤣🤣
Singing this style for 30+ years can have this effect I imagine.
Plus he does more than one style of vocals.

You can tell Burton is hurting here. Mad respect for sticking it through.
i always love how majestic Burton is on audio and live. Im one of the few that dont complain how his vocals are live
Same here bro, Burton is a fucking legend
Performance of the festival for me.
I give burton a shit ton of credit for trying to sing a therapy for pain. That song is ridiculously hard on your vocals.
1:30 he's definitely trying so hard, lol.
Ahahahah

Stuart Mackie yeah it's heartbreaking .. But FF have given so much over almost 3 decades .. Eternal Love to them

Aww, Ive always wanted to see them live but I have a thing for bands that have shitty vocals live
