I know this song is pretty special to women but take it from a guy who went through a messy divorce (wife of 8 years ran off with someone she met on the internet). This song speaks to anyone who has gone through a nasty breakup (and most guys try just as hard to be "good boys" as y'all try to be "good girls""
I don't know if you heard the whole sentence, but she was talking about the promise he made her about holding her until he dies, but he is still alive and not holding her anymore. It wasn't a threat. At least I didn't interpret it like that.
Mimsin Hi, I get what you’re saying. Yes, I know the song very well. To me it means you said you’d hold me until you die, but you didn’t die yet so why are you not doing it. Also when she says I’m sure she’d make a really excellent mother, we know she is being sarcastic & doesn’t mean that. She definitely became Psycho but I kind of was making a joke that she would literally kill him ya know. Good to hear your point of view regarding it though ✌🏻

Her rock style and explicit raw emotions opened the gates in the 90s for other female artists to step up. Great choice!

She done her full set almost 2 hours and as everyone was leaving the steward told us to wait in our seats for a bit.
