Kris you should cover the case of Madam LaLaurie AKA Marie Delphine Macarty. She was a New Orleans socialite in the 1800’s and one of the first female serial killers in America who was believed to have tortured and murdered slaves in her household. It’s a really gruesome case that has a lot of holes in it and I very rarely see it covered. New Orleans always had a different way of treating enslaved people compared to most of the US and LaLaurie was seen to be generally "polite" to people of color in public but in her house it was a torture chamber. She was initially discovered when her house caught fire where they found a 70-year-old slave chained to the stove by her ankle. The slave had set the fire as a suicide attempt because she feared being punished, stating that slaves taken to the uppermost room "never came back". It’s absolute revolting what she did and I hope all who were affected by her are resting in peace.

In fact the home I grew up in was less than 1/4 mile from the home he did his killings in and I drove passed it in my way to school. My dad’s friend worked at the state penitentiary and worked around Jerry and said he was quite that ominous character. He is one of the reason people in salem locked their doors at night and gave parents stories to terrify their kids with. I certainly will never forget it.

Anne Rule wrote a book on him. Her books are really informative and usually include their families point of view. She was my favorite investigative writer!
Exactly! See this is why we have serial killers! When people don’t get enough attention as a child Or doesn’t get credit they deserve they get angry and go psycho!

These stories make me feel sad for their children selves. So much suffering and abuse, and they became the bottom of the barrel of humans. My heart aches for the victims, and for the criminals childhoods.
I am from Salem, and my mother started college at OSU in 1969. I grew up having her be so worried about my sister and I- so much so that she complained to administration at Parrish middle school for locking the school shortly after classes ended. She was always so worried about me waiting outside to be picked up by her, and eventually told me about this asshat as the root of her fear
I learn about so many messed up people in these crime deep dives and, so far, I’ve never heard of them previously. I think you do a really great job of finding criminals who aren’t as well known for their crimes but are still…we’ll say interesting to hear about. And I can tell how much research is put into each video. As someone intrigued by these types of people and their mindsets, I really enjoy these videos and I’m glad that it seems like you enjoy making them too!

im currently binge watching your true crime playlist, and im so happy you show that you can like true crime and not show off as a weird potential criminal kind of person. a lot of ppl tell me to stay away cuz i will end up idolizing these serial killers or want to be them but no they are fucked up but i still love to listen and read about their stories because i think the victims deserve some form of justice so thanks kris for being you ❤ now i feel less ashamed about liking this kind of stuff

My brain wants me to watch these before bed even if its all I'll think about that night-
I have watched SO MANYYYY true crime/serial killer stuff it’s insane but don’t think I’ve ever heard of this one! So glad you started this series!!! Love it AND you!!❤❤
I love how Kris takes the time and care to carefully and respectfully present such horrific events, yet winds it with such humour, keep doing what you're doing Kris ! ❤
I live in Oregon, born and raised. Watching this video is kind of fun and interesting in some ways which is hard to explain how but knowing that I lived in a few places where a killer used to live or go to is kind of fascinating to me. Does anyone else feel that way when they find out that a killer used to live in your state?
“Live pretty comfortably” *THUNDER⚡️💥* Kris:🙄😐*continues *
I don’t think you’ll see this but I have been obsessed with you and Caleb’s UA-cam channels FOR DAYS!! I’m on 3 hours of sleep ya assholes 😆 but I loved every second!!!!
Update she saw it
I love how Kris just find the creepiest pieces of sh*t to talk about to bring awareness to everyone to be cautious
And the way she says “the serial killer stew” 😂 I love you videos Kris ❤
im currently binge watching your true crime playlist, and im so happy you show that you can like true crime and not show off as a weird potential criminal kind of person. a lot of ppl tell me to stay away cuz i will end up idolizing these serial killers or want to be them but no they are fucked up but i still love to listen and read about their stories because i think the victims deserve some form of justice so thanks kris for being you ❤ now i feel less ashamed about liking this kind of stuff
I live in Texas and remember that storm, it was HORRIBLE!!! my street was FLOODED and i chose the WORST day to wear my Uggs, they are RUINED!! i hope you were safe and everything was alright with you. stay safe.
If you haven’t yet, I recommend reading (or watching) The Lovely Bones. There’s a couple parallels.
Kris just stopping the video to talk about Vesses (hope I spelled that right) was amazing
The way KMK can just be so funny wile telling theses horrific cases known to man it’s amazing
Kris is a literal vibe tho “Not slay in that way, slay in that way” 😂😂😂
"And my brother's not a serial killer, he's a cop"
.... 🥴 oof who's gonna tell her.
honestly you should make a podcast on Spotify for these, I would love to have more of these in a frequent matter and I bet I'm not the only one. It's just an idea, but I would love to have more of these where you wouldn't get demonetized and could possibly get into even more depth in the information. :)
I’m from Oregon and it was hilarious to hear your pronunciation of towns. Specifically Albany, Aloha, and Willamette
