I pile of "brass" at your feet! That's how people knew where I was hunting. Lol. Had a couple of open site rifle I needed to take a deer with and never could hit a standing deer just running. Glad you got him!! Try carrying sticks. They work!
Congratulations on both deer. I'm glad you got the injured buck. Anyone who thinks shoot offhand is easy has done it. What counts is you got the job done.
Glad you recovered the buck. Nice deer. As for the misses, it happens. Anybody who has hunted long enough has had it happen to them. Cool that you had the kids along.
this video reminds me of the movie "Ballad of Buster Scruggs" when Buster looked at the cards on the table and the bad guy across the table says, "you seen 'em, you play 'em"......When your daughter was pulling the guts out, I was thinking dad saying, "you kill 'em, you clean 'em." Great video. Great bucks in anyone's woods. Congrats. Get yourself a Primose Trigger Stick. One shot, one kill. lol

Their is always the one shot we would like to take back. You never know the outcome tell after you pull the trigger. We as hunters have to know when that is and if we think it could end bad just don't do it . But if you don't have one hunt that you wish would of went better or wish you would of just let it walk then high five to you or your face because you lie. Just learn from it and do your best not to do it over.
That was well said. The only Thing different I’d Do was to maybe sit On the stand and try And use my knee as a rest. At the height I was in the tree and the degree I was shooting Down I’d take the shot again. That is just me and I know the shot I was Taking but you are correct there is one shot that stands out in my Mind that I shouldn’t have taken when I was a kid. Nothing happened but I thought About it after V the shot and can remember it clearly 30 years later.
The deer was wounded prior to shooting and I finished the deer off. Yea it wasn’t pretty. I’m sorry that I’m not a crack shot at 250 off hand like you. The next time I catch myself in that situation I will definitely climb down and use my bipods Or let the deer walk. Thanks again for enlightening me on the problem.

If the kids wanna go I take them but I don’t beg them to go. I can’t stand taking a kid that says when are we going home

Perfect example to show my kids of how to be an unethical hunter! I appreciate your lack of intelligence and respect! Great learning tool
Tell your kids to get off the computer and play outside. It isn’t my job to teach your kids shit. That’s on you

Putting up a video shooting a deer with with a rifle with a farm behind your target really doesn't do anyone any good.
Well the deer was sufferings with a bad hoof. It had been that way for months and gotten worse so I’m going to say At least it was good for the deer.
@@bushpounders6437 shooting at houses is never a good idea. If someone in those buildings gets hit everybody is going to suffer the consequences.

I see you don’t take constructive criticism very well. Maybe if your not good at 250 yard offhand shots then don’t take the shot.
