Never mentioned any wrongdoing, only made an observation. Lots of folks don't know what a purple mark on a tree means. Fact I even congratulated him. @@cgriffie02
The first doe you shot was lined up with the one in the background behind it. You possibly could risk wounding it. Next time wait until your target deer clears the others.
i thought in PA you had to tag and dress the first deer prior to harvesting a second? it looked like you shot them both prior to taking care of the first one? I may be wrong or maybe just did not understand the timing of your shots.
How about you harvest what makes you happy and allow others to choose what makes them happy, instead of buck shaming!! Not everyone is an anal retentive trophy snob!!!
I had a conversation with a PGC Deer Biologist about a buck like that one. The wardens are instructed to give the benefit of the doubt to the hunter. If you can count 3, there's 3 points.
@tp-mh2ji Believe me I know, same in MD in the 1960's -1990's. That's why I never did one bit of doe harvesting. Because every Tom,Dick and Harry were shooting anything that moved. That means out of season and in season. In MD one hunter can take 30 doe. WTF. Any person doing so is killing for money. They are in the venison market. I've harvested 3 nice bucks all 140- 160 deer a bunch of times. That means passing on deer, not taking bad shots, one shot harvests or one arrow harvests. It was hard for me to use 3 deer let alone 30. I've seen lots in my years, The stories i could tell. Times when there were hardly any deer. It was big news if you harvested a big buck, antler wise or body wise. All my family and friends always had a competition who was going to kill the biggest buck or which family was. Deer season was a big event, especially rifle season, it was Thanksgiving and rifle season!! GOOD TIMES!! GREAT MEMORIES!! A TIME GONE BY.
Great job man
Thank you. Just trying to show our experiences.
Looks like you were hunting 2 properties with the purple marked trees. Congratulations
This does not make it illegal to hunt here. If he 1. is the landowner or 2. has permission from the landowner he is fine.

The PA Game Commission changed that rule in 2020 to where hunters can shoot multiple deer as long as they have the appropriate tags.
You are correct. However, you have to tag the deer before field dressing it. Remember that for the next time.
must be tagged before moving@@dchaney40
Knit pickers!
PA keeps giving out 6 doe tags per person soon everyone will start complaining about seeing deer
Do u mean complaining about not seeing deer?
Yes I would in pa
let the little ones walk . that how you make big bucks .
How about you harvest what makes you happy and allow others to choose what makes them happy, instead of buck shaming!! Not everyone is an anal retentive trophy snob!!!
Only take one doe per hunter..Need to leave some seed
No way give him another year
I would pass on him and let him mature more

Personally no shooter
Good job but next time have a camera man. The video was crap
Definitely a difficult task to do. We try to have a camera guy, but doesn’t always work out that way.
Quig

It might be legal, but unethical. Wait for a bigger one.
