I got two float it 2.0 love them. With his picnic attack is great for bottling from the keg if you want to use a keg not already on tap or to help control the foam alittle bet better then the normal tap
Yep, Trong easily has me sold on the FLOTit 2.x as I've bought a ton and about 4 or more Picnic taps, but I'm still a big counter pressure bottle filler and haven't found the perfect system for yet.
Love watching Trong from Home Brew Lab.. He brews along LIVE with Benham Brewing on YT. Benham Brewing is also from Phoenix, AZ just like I am. Trong would be live on YT forbthe full brewday. BTW, love your channel. 🍻 from AZ.
He has offered to brew with me on a live stream, and I'm strongly considering it, but it may need to wait till late December or mid-Jan 2025 as I have a lot going on, including two non-work-related trips. 😎🍻
Never imagined relying on anything like these 4 items as much as I do. Trong is funny too, as he tracks all his sales and is really good at remembering his customers. He has sent me a few samples of items many years back and recently I mentioned that I had bought a bunch and he knew that I bought a bunch of each item, especially the FLOTit 2.x to replace other floating dip tubes and a few FLOTit 1.x dip tubes. He was like yes, you got X on Amazon and X on eBay. He does all his own shipping and packing which helps him remember when he seems common names he has seen before. Great guy and I'm really happy to see if finally getting lots of the appreciation has deserved for a very long term.
I have two of those picnic taps and they both leak from the twist knob. They both came with spare parts for both of them so I replaced everything, seals and all. Still leakage. I will not give Trong a penny more and I usually advice every brewer I talk to to stay far away from them. They are just trouble. There are better ways to get flow control. For my floating diptubes and spunding valves I stick with Kegland.
I had one that leaked a little and I reached out to Trong and he helped me fix it in a matter of seconds. I would strongly recommend reaching out to Trong with a photo or two to show him where the leaks are. If I remember right, my tap was a bit too tight. He really does care about his customers and will be more than happy to help you.
Thank you very much for the support and I can relate as I watch a lot more videos then I ever comment on. If you ever had a question, feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer it. I've been brewing for 10 years this December, but I'm always learning which is one of the great things I love about this hobby.
I have three clear beer draught systems. Love them. And yes they are expensive. I have one float it. Because of an earlier video of yours. And I will probably get a second one because yes they are really nice. But that's it. This has to stop somewhere. (My wife's words not mine.) Oh yeah I might try one of those picnic taps 2.
😂🍻😂🍻"Wife's words not mine" Very Funny. If you saw my 4 part video about the floating dip tubes, the Clear Beer Draught system held its own and exceeded expectations. Trong and I, spoke about them and both agree they are really high quality, but of course are on the more expensive side. For kegging, both work really well, but for my Fermzilla All Rounder, I prefer the FLOTit 2.x. As for my wife, she hates beer, but likes my income and after having some heart issues, she actually is happy I brew as she says it seems to help me with my stress, that I never knew I had. (She still wishes I didn't drink the beer, but doesn't give me too much flack.) Maybe you need to tell your wife that it helps with your stress, plus one beer seems to work better for my blood pressure than the meds do, so my DRs tell me to keep drinking but would prefer me to keep it to only one per day.
I do like my Nukataps a bit more than my Intertap, mainly because of better quality control. I haven't been temped to try the Nukatap mini yet as it looked a little cheap, but with more info, I may be temped to try one. I've never had any issues with the Picnic taps and have 5 currently with different disconnect configurations. Trong did send me one, but I purchased the others and use the hell out of them, sometimes never connecting a keg to the main taps.
😂I'm answering this with three things sitting in my shopping cart at this very moment that I really want but probably don't need. I might need one of the three, but of course, I'm thinking about the free shipping based on buying enough to qualify. I feel you on this, as sometimes I buy a lot of stuff just to test for the channel. Luckily, there are very few items I really regret buying and a few more that I never use again.

100 percent agree with floating dip tubes and spunding valves. All good advice though

Love my picnic mini taps. They don’t drip and they are great on the go. I broke one and he sent a part very fast. Never had any issues.
@@AM2PMReviews He really does love his customers.
Cheers! Welcome to Bitter Reality Brewing. YES! We're gonna drink some beers, boys!
@@BeetsByHometownBrew honestly I've been here a long time. 😆. I'm not big on commenting. But I've watched all your videos. Good info.
It is all about making great tasting beer and enjoying it often!

I have the picnic tap 2.1 and absolutely hate it, I find the nukatap mini with a flow control disconnect is fininitely better.

Your going to cost me money, LOL.
