Really helps a lot because I’ve been playing for more than 6 years with my family and I always wanted to learn how to shoot a curve ball and thanks to you’re video I learned how to :)😃
If this guy is making money from his UA-cam uploads then he seriously needs to consider having his pool table recovered.....its in a shocking state......lol
need more people like u in comments , i want to see all the people made negative comments do what he did , so we can all watch and see if they can do these shots
Wanted to say thank you explained a lot of what I am doing wrong with my curves I have made a few but this taught me I am taking my angles and too much English when doing this excellent tutorial definitely going to put to use what I learned here
Zip like that you actually showed us on the ball where to aim our cue stick. This is something I wish you would do in all of your videos. Many people are visual players and need to see the details of the shots.
You are grate man ,forget about all stupid coments as you talking to much this is the main point you need to explain how you do it otherwise you could play and has non sens and then people would not be happy Unfortunately this is human nature what ever you do is not good Thanks for sharing we all we should do In the end no one is perfect
Nothing wrong with talking a lot but there has to be a balance between talking and 'action' or any visual context. It's not human nature that whatever he does is not good, it's just we would also like visual context while talking to attract our attention.
Man the hate is abundant! How about we appreciate your passion for the game like most watching this video have or had at one point. Keep up the good work and continue to EXPLAIN AND EXPLAIN AGAIN!!!! I’m sure most of these people negatively commenting can’t make these shots and take it out on your channel. Like they say haters gonna hate. Keep it up bro and keep sharing the knowledge! PS if you don’t like the video buy a table buy a camera and record and post your own content that meets your standards on your own time. I’m sure you won’t so don’t knock it until you put in the work. This kid would mop most of you up point blank period!
Thank you, I've always had trouble figuring out how power and elevation effect the curve. Now I need to get some practice in to get my masse more consistent.
A guy tried this in the local Pool room growing up & he wound up ripping the S**T out of the Cloth on the Table, The owner had a fit & made him pay for the new Cloth back then it was apx $100.00 Bucks, Guess he must of took up Bowling, Because we never saw hin in the Pool Room ever again etc.
Maybe its something about him picking the cue, align the shot, then keep it back, talk more and then again pick up the cue and put it back again to talk more! Just do all the talking first and then go on to execute it!
I actually like the talk, probably for beginners is better, it gives time to really understand the physics of the spin you want to apply. Also, i really wish i could have a table i could practice onto 😢
Hey kid. Love your videos. Just a tip. When you're explaining the angle of your stick. You Need to know your degrees. You're saying 20-30°angle when it's more like 60° angle. 90° is straight up and down. 45° is right in between. So you have a good reference. Keep up the 👍 good work though. Much love RED
WTF is wrong with people complaining about the talking ?? It is a freaking tutorial channel. Just go and watch pro games if all you're interested in are shots !
mocheford because he’d explain the shot then line up the shot then go back to talking again and then eventually hit the ball, we want tutorials to be straight to the point. Explain it,demonstrate it and move on
@@eddieruddy3843 First of all, this is a video and you can't ask live questions. Live or video, you always want to explain what and WHY you're doing what you are when teaching and after it's seen you DO want to go over it. The kid is a good player. I think he should be talking more, because he's missing some crucial information. I left a AA 1st place team to be a captain for a team of people from work that had somewhere between 50 and 100 hours of pool in their life, but there was a catch. All 4 had to meet me on 2 off nights to practice & no matter how weird my lessons were, they had to follow them. In 3 months I took people that knew nothing about pool, got 2 of them running tables and we ended up taking 1st place the first and second season. If you want to get better at ANYTHING start teaching people, because everyone learns differently and will have stronger and weaker skills and this teaches you to think different;y and you will become a much better player. To just watch someone VS someone explaining things PROPERLY to help u learn makes a huge difference. If you don't know why and how I'm doing what I'm doing, it's gonna take you forever to learn. One of the most FOS words you'll ever hear is "Those who can't do teach" Trust me, I learned a ton from these people that knew nothing, because I never would have thought of all the different ways to get the cue ball where I wanted it, because this guy couldn't draw, but the other guy could and so on. I have trained over 600 people in many different things and when I taught people pool, they got skills in 3 months that u don't see people have in 3 years and I took MVP 5 years in a row. I was mostly self taught by one book "the 99 critical shots" which I've never seen a better book yet and one video I think by someone named Burnes. I went to work and from there I played pool at least 4 hours a day and for 3 months I never played anyone. I took 1 ball, the cue ball and a piece of paper and set up different shots with the attempt to land the cue ball on the paper. Best thing I ever did
Hey great stuff man. Keep it going. However I recently tried this on my own table but couldn't make it happen I think that my cue sticks are to big. Could you ( or anyone out there) please tell me what kind of cue sticks do you use and where could I find them online. Many Thanks
First off if your using a hard top it won't work as well you need a soft tip so that it can create more spin second 12.5 is the ideal size for masse because you have to put alot of stress on the stick so smaller sizes have a chance to shatter also it's recommended to use a carbon fiber shaft. Hope this helps wish I had more info but I'm still learning myself.
Hey .. Ive watched your videos multiple times. But I was just wondering where you got your cue with the numbers on it. Trying to get one for myself and cant find it. Could You send me the link or let me know the name of it. Thanks
Perfectly, evenly rounded. Your game can’t improve without a consistent, straight cue. The ones down the pub always affect your shot’s trajectory. With the slower shots its mostly okay, but the faster ones it throws off.
Really helps a lot because I’ve been playing for more than 6 years with my family and I always wanted to learn how to shoot a curve ball and thanks to you’re video I learned how to :)😃

Great video, I liked your camera angles and in depth explanations.
Do you use a softer cue tip or can it be done with the standard tip?
Great job explaining !! Thank u

always wanted to learne masse shots...Thanks :)
Very useful, thank you !
I got more understanding on how to shoot with different technique of shots. Thanks brother
Loved it buddy 😊
Not sure if anyone will still reply but just asking, for the further masse, do you put the target facing upwards or parallel to the table?
Does it work with any cue, ball, and table? Or does it only work with a proper cue and a good table?
THANK YOU! For free advice! John P.
The closer to the center you hit the ball, the faster is going? Or it depends the force you hit the ball?
VERY HELPFUL. THANK YOU
Great shots man... Interesting

Hi where can buy that training ball can't find it nowhere
draw shot with side spin we need to see the view on the cue ball before you execute the stroke, the masse shots that you demonstrate are amazing
when performing this shot do you hit the tabel
can i use the short cue ?
