Very nice patch of dirt! Those fence posts look plumb Bob perfect! I think the work bench is just a movie set to make us less organized viewers feel good. Great videos, thanks!
@@rw3dog Yeah we are neighbors, my youtube name was Ian T before. I'm going to restore my rotary plow this month(wife's deadline) and put it on a pull start 5000 walk behind...which needs to have the governor fixed.
this is for really hard core gravely enthusiasts i just bought one with a mower for $100 at the "lawnmower boneyard". everyone wants to ride these days
alan lake yes the is a Norwich CT there are a lot of towns here named after places in England. Maybe the original settlers here that came from England used names from their towns back home...
They use alot of gas, but they do some good work. What's happening when they keep blowing oil out the exhaust and they're not flowing oil under the cap? That happened to one of mine and same with a friends.
Garden looks great after the Gravely treatment. Is there a reason that you are running the GRWs with the treads backwards? Did you install the electronic ignition module? Any video? Any timing adjustment needed? Be careful, I don't think growing weed is legal in CT. lol
Panon1 The tires were backwards from the prior owner. It's ok though since most of its work is happening in reverse... I don't have a video of the ignition....Lol, I said growing "weeds" not weed. Thanks for watching
the axles connect to a worm drive differential, the two speed is in the transmission. never adjust the reverse so it locks, the darn thing will run over you
Looks like they are reversed - it will work for 10 years like that but you lose traction on wet ground, use more rubber and fuel - the dart must always be going onwards

Greetings from Woodbury...My wife asked me to do some tilling and so its time to examine my rotary plow and get it running. I never used it before.

another good tool for the garden.

at 2:50 you said the carburetor was leaking gas - is not this a big problem???
Looks like its just the thing.
Are them bar tires installed backwards?
William Ramos yes, it was that way when I got it. It works good when i till in reverse...
Better traction in reverse , which the rotary cultivator works best.
Noticed that too. Can't understand why people do that. Tires are designed to provide maximum pull in one direction while self cleaning.
Are they are they gear reduction wheels on this machine? If they are, how much did they slow the tractor down
Joe O Yes they are gear reduction wheels. I don't know the exact gear ration it's gotta be at least half the speed... They work great.
Yep GRW's slow the tractor by half
Steven, I thought I read somewhere, that the GRW's cut it to 1/3 of the actual speed
Yep then adding the bigger wheels only slows it down one third. You are correct

Wrong-mounted wheels - should be exchanged with each other
Nicolas Verhaegen are you trying to tell me my tires are backwards ?

Rotate the tires
