I saw someone also make scrambled eggs poured into a sheet pan to bake then cut into squares to fit on breakfast sandwiches. Looked like it works pretty well.
Thank you! When we bought it, they had put drop ceilings in a few decades ago because the plaster was falling off. It was quite the transformation to pull those nasty old tiles down!
Ive done pancakes on sheet pans before and it is a huge time saver. However, last week I discovered French toast on a Baking dish. This saved me so much time in that morning and it has become my new favorite way to do it. I’ll never go back!
Oh no! Hope the electrical issue gets sorted out but glad everyone’s ok 🤗 That chicken meal sounds amazing regardless of how it was cooked ! Gotta add that one to my dinner list 🤩
It. Was. Fabulous!! Yes, we have our 4th repairman scheduled for this week. It’s a lot, but also have an electrician on the list to come as well. All in a rainy spring in MO! 😆
I loooooove stoneware bakeware Pampered Chef is my fav but they don’t make actual sheet pans I bought a thicker SS pan almost the size of my oven rack and I love how much I can fit on it Root vegs for days, all done at once! Tons of chicken or chicken and potatoes and asparagus (save all the drippings for soup or gravy/sauces)! Huge amt of sheet pan pancakes or sunnyside eggs for everyone all done together!
I can fit 2 of the stone bar pans side by side in mine and it works perfectly. I love the deep sides did catching all of the juice, or making a huge deep dish pizza. Sunny side up eggs sound great, but my pans are usually covered with bacon at that time. 👍
I designed it! It took years of planning. During our main remodel I stopped short of finishing because I didn’t love the kitchen plans. 2 years later, and several locations/ideas later, I taped up this layout on the dining room floor. After we lived with it for a couple of months to make sure it worked as I had envisioned, we called our cabinet guy and contractor back in to make it happen. I’m so glad we didn’t just do “something” before this vision came about, because the other options were definitely not what it is today. As for the look, the house was built in 1907, so I wanted it to look aged, but not necessarily old, if that makes sense. Thank you for hanging out in my little corner of YT! I hope you enjoy your time with us. 💕
It’s a GE Monogram 36 inch. I absolutely LOVE it, and would buy it again. I scored this one as a floor model closeout, but u would buy it again even if I had to pay full price. 👍
It’s from Pampered Chef. I picked it because I am super picky about avoiding nonstick coatings. This one was rated as one of the safest available when I picked it up a couple of years ago, and we have used it nonstop since. The kids use it to toast bagels or warm foods almost daily. We also use it in place of a microwave to reheat. Here’s the link. Yes! Thats a fabulous idea!
Sometimes Plan A doesn't work out, but your Plan B without the oven worked great!! I must say your little helpers are good at cracking those eggs!
I love the doors on your spice cabinet, so cool!
Thank you, and thanks for watching!
I made these pancakes for supper tonight and they were AMAZING!
So glad you liked it! Try the chicken next. 👍
I love your high ceiling kitchen!

New subscriber here. Your videos are inspiring and so thorough. I’d just like to know who designed your amazing kitchen.

Hi, I was wondering what kind of range you own, if you don't mind. Thank you

@@thehometownhomestead thank you very much, I really, really like what looks like the racks on wheels. They roll so smooth and come out so far.
You're raising a baby chef!!! Enjoy it while you can. She'll be a thankless teenager before you know it!😂
She LOVES being involved. Hoping by the time she’s 10 I can just be the taste tester. 😆
Thanks for watching!
@@thehometownhomestead I started mine young too. She grew to be a fabulous cook
Thankless teens aren’t mandatory
I had 5 plus many friends with many kids, very few thankless teens

Enjoyed your show. Could you tell me the brand of your air fryer? I’m looking to purchase one and I like yours.
