- Cost for housing in Jamaica 2024 - 2025. A new residential development referred to as Kingston Apartments (K2) with many proposed modern amenities is scheduled to be completed in East Kingston, December 2025. It is, adjacent to the highway and the prices per unit range from J$16.2 to J$ 34.6 million .
Glad to see the redevelopment of downtown kingston continuing
Its a very good feeling to know that housing solutions will be available in the corporate area . getting the funds to pay for it is another hurdle, NHT is of no help
Its very good to see all these housing developments in the corporate area, but it come to naught if regular Jamaican cannot afford them.

Thanks for the information. This is a good investment property to buy. The design of the building is also very good. B-57 apartments off Hagley Park road is also a good investment property. There is also a very attractive development called the Halo on Devon Road, near Jamaica House.

The Chinese build cheap compared to regular Jamaican builders. They use lots of Sheetrock on the inside. Jamaicans uses block and steel almost right through

Well observed. It isn't necessary to use blocks for partition walls. Sheet rocks will do well and are cooler and looks like real walls

It seems like they are building with the rich and elite in mind. Although it appears that the more expensive an item is in Jamaica the quicker it is sold🙂

Better I take that cash and go buy land and build house in the country areas, we have highway now so Kingston is easily accessable.

Money ina Jamaica, just most of us not getting any

The price for the unit, will only leave Jamaican to be Renting instead of buying or paying mortgage.
It's getting harder to own a house for the average citizen
Do you know any Financial institution giving loans to purchase these units, I dont qualify for nht.
Check JN, VMBS, BNS NCB, interest rates will be high though
