Love it! My grandad worked at Warburtons for years and loved every second there. So much so that after he retired he missed work and went back to work in the warbies staff shop. He wouldn’t believe all these celebs if he was around now.

My favourite part of this is when he walks up to his office door, there is a guy fixing it up after he kicked it down, he then sees him and goes "Ugh..." when he turns up and kicks it in again. Priceless 😂
Absolutely the best advertisement ever made. The only one that came close was Victor Kiam of electric razor fame doing an advert for Green King beer. Incidentally, and I'm not being paid for this,I buy a relatively new product from Warburton call "protein bagals" .They aren't great "raw" but when they are toasted they are the business.
I used to work for this company I remember a few years ago, they were giving us a presentation on how they’d have to change our shift pattern (again) and when you cut out all the bullshit you actually had to work an added day for about £1 extra This is the same company that also said ‘we’ve got Sylvester Stallone to star in our new advert’ You just couldn’t make it up They really look after their staff… not Jonathan make his staff a cuppa? I only saw him the once and he had a face that could cut glass. Must be hard being a multimillionaire with a factory handed down to you… The same company that produced that bread (I don’t know about now, I left in 2019) at overheight spec so they’d produce a bigger yield, regardless of whether it fit in the wax wrap properly. Often the seals wouldn’t.. seal. Have a look on the shelf I’ll bet you’ll find one or two that aren’t sealed properly and dried out.
I work for Warburtons now. Joined last year. They've been really good to me, everyone has been really friendly and fair, they paid for my training and to get my class 2 licence, which I'll have even if I left. The wage is better than anywhere else I could realistically work and I get to go home early but because it's salary i still get paid. Perhaps because I've not seen how it used to be and I don't know any different, to some people it might not be as good as it once was. I've noticed that the folk that like to moan are the older ones who have been there for 10,15,20 years sometimes more. Don't get me wrong, it's a difficult job at times but my pay reflects that. Overall as it stands I'm really happy, yes of course because I haven't been there long I don't know how it used to be, but thats a good thing perhaps because I just see the job for what it is. Not what it was.
