I got approved 3 days ago. I’m so grateful to God. I worked my butt off putting my documents together back to back for 2 months. I was so scared when they returned my documents saying that I should submit it in NSC. I live in GA and TSC is the right center. Well, I did what uscis directed me to do and it was accepted and approved 3days ago without RFE. My perfect Christmas gift 🎁

Can I submit new evidence like a new publication that was published by the time the case was pending and use it to respond to the RFE when additional evidence is requested? Some people need evidence isn't allowed and I'm confused wny
@OscarsGreenCard yes i checked. %80 of eb1a 14 month. But now mine 15 month since received. Do you recommend if I ask, inquiry about my case? If late will i ask or wait which one better?
@@OscarsGreenCardthank you. they say please dont ask to 5 february. If it lasts too long do you advice to ask or wait?if i ask them and they have too much work do they send rfe?
I also saw some I-140s approved back in the mid covid years are getting rescinded. I think the reason is alot of unqualified applicants saw the EB2 NIW as a savior category when the reality is totally different.

one of the possible reason the approval rate going low is that the people work in high tech company cannot get h1b due to Indian consulting company abuse the h1b system, even you have a h1b,perm success rate is really low due to the bad economic environment. One of my friend told the perm success rate in Meta is only 2%. So the high tech company lawer start to file NIW for their employee. However,my friend told me NIW approval rate in Meta is also very low.
I want to be sure i will get Green Card; my i-140 was approved within a month, possibly because i have PhD degree in Biochemistry from, Nigeria. My PD is August 16, 2024. Is biochemistry a good reference?
think its cos lots of people are applying out without proper vetting. will be interesting to see the fields or areas getting denied the most, just started my app and should get feedback by end of 2025
Hello Oscar, thank you once again for the data driven analysis of both approvals and denials of, I Form 140 by USCIS during July to Sept 2024 (Quater 4 of 2023 fiscal year). Please can you confirm if these approvals and denials were based on petition/application (both EB1A and EB2NIW) filed in the same period (that is, all Form 140 filed between July to Sept 2024)?
I think the visa bulletin is going to move fast due the denial rate and increase in requirements for approval, the fear is cases may not be given critical review before drawing a conclusion on them as the new government is looking to reduce chain migration.. they will paying attention to cases with good relevance eg , education, industrial technology, agriculture, construction, manufacturing and biotechnology
Seriously, they wrote "Soviet Union"? and these people are expected to judge the profiles of accomplished researchers for a green card application? smh, no wonder the visa bulletin is stuck...
Others have provided the reason in the comment section: they are asked about country of birth, so they rightfully write Soviet union . Technically they were born there even if that country no longer exists as such.
What if they're intentionally approving more EB-1 since the PD is current in order to reduce the backlog in EB-2 that isn't current. Just a thought that is likely not the case. Lol
Number 2 could be true to some extent, but number 1 is not for sure. I cant tell you I have met people who applied this past months who have excellent profiles (they will probably be approved if they do a good job)
The top 10 countries must be singled out in the visa bulletin, really. The 7% country cap must be applied to specific immigrant visa categories rather than on the total of combined family-based plus employment-base categories. The EB2 ROW cut-off date will be stuck in FY23 for the entire FY25, that's for sure.

When we must ask ,inquiry about eb1a application? totally 15 months case received. Is it good to inquiry or asking to usciss?
You have to check if you can egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

unlikely, if you are talking EB-2, since all of them have been current since...well, those years (the visa bulletin was current then)
Great work, Dr Pardo!🎉👌🏾 Very insightful
Thanks a lot :)
if a person from india so greencard waiting time for eb2 niw is same as normal eb2 for him or different
No, it's different
is this analysis based on 140 approval/denied rate or for 485?
Came to ask this too

Ditto for Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, etc. You can have a country of birth that no longer exists.

hehe, no I don't think so either. Having seen many EB-1A cases I can tell you that officers are quite strict when judging that category
because
1) all qualified people have already applied
2) most of them are doing it themselves without much knowledge
Number 2 could be true to some extent, but number 1 is not for sure. I cant tell you I have met people who applied this past months who have excellent profiles (they will probably be approved if they do a good job)
Many People who were born in Soviet Union before it collapsed, and put their country of birth as Soviet Union on the application.
This is a good point, because of the country of birth it's not that unlikely that applicants write that ...to be technically correct
My case. I have “Soviet Union” listed as my country of birth in my passport, so that’s what I wrote when filing the I-140.
@DodovNes makes total sense, thanks for sharing!
