It would be a shame if one day you did decide to stop producing UA-cam content because your vids are really good 🥰 And I would miss them dearly. This said, from what i've seen since discovering "Sommit or Nothing" you are a very "creative" chap so I figure you'll end up doing something else before long 👍 In the meantime, all my best to you and Nath

I think your Q&A videos are great. Gives another insight into you and the channel. I discovered your channel back when you were just approaching the 5k subs. Your videos are what got me into wild camping in the first place. I binge watched your channel for weeks. Your honesty is spot on and it would be a real shame for you to stop making videos. I think we would all be devastated but your mental health is extremely important, so look after yourself . Thank you for the work you put in to keep us entertained, all the best for the week ahead 👍

Don’t stop trev! Where would I get my hit of Dartmoor from? Can’t afford the diesel every weekend to drive for 4hrs each way!
I know nothing about making a UA-cam channels. As a viewer I don’t mind waiting an extra week for a video you wanted to make rather than felt you had too.
Building the channel to 50k subs is great but if you are burnt out in 6 months then it’s rubbish.
Videos I would like to see are: more family camping tips, equipment etc (I loved the last one) your food ones are fun for a break from freeze dried meals and hopefully less time consuming (plus can be done to make family meal), test night in the garden of the cheapest tent you could find new, your walks are lovely but if the south coast path is too much (financially and time wise) Dartmoor sights are still beautiful, anything with Dartmoor legends, Naths kit list was great.
Basically you have a community who support you and only want the best for you and the channel. You provide a highlight of our week (I am not sure if that’s a good thing or not 😉) and we feel we know you. So please remember your Patreon’s if you need help or reassurance that a week off is ok. We support you because we believe in your channel and your talent.
Anyhow I am sounding American now so will leave you too it!

Cheers Christopher. A really great comment there. I havent had a lot of choice but to slow production during these busy times, if anything it's the Patreons that seem to have taken a hit, as I haven't had any exclusive vids on there for a good while, but I'm hoping that the winter will offer me more opportunities than the summer had.
Thanks ever so much for sticking by me, your support is always greatly appreciated!

Trev, really enjoyed the q&a, thank you.
Life is a real bugger as it doesn't half get in the way at times. You've added so much content to S-O-N over the years that it's totally understandable that you'd feel like you've burnt out from time to time. As a personal thing, I absolutely LOVE your SWCP walks and relish watching those. I've started rewatching them!! haha. Whilst you may have climbed some Tors more than others so I can understand you might be concerned about repetition creeping in, there is always something unique about each time you do it. Whether it's a solo walk or with Nath or another guest, it'll be unique to that day, be it because of the weather, or someone you talk to, it'll still offer something new to the viewer. I would imagine *Wedding season* is chaotic now this year, especially as so many couples had to cancel last year. My friend's daughter got married on the 14th after having to postpone it twice before. Thank you for helping to make cherished memories for the lucky couples whose weddings you're capturing on film. Yes, we might all be hungry for new content, but.. family first and foremost. Make the most of the free time you have with them, the days go by so quickly, blink, and whoosh... years have rolled by. So don't worry about spending time with them; make the most of it... We'll all still be here for the times you're able to get back out there. Have a great week Trev. x

Hi Trev. I enjoyed the Q&A. As others have said, it would be a shame to see you stop making videos. But also, you've got to do what's right for you. I find it hard to make weekly uploads - and there is little in the way of a 'reward' for your efforts (neither do I have kids).
I'd still be happy to see fortnightly videos from you, if that was more practical. As you say, there are so very many channels out there, there's always another to watch in the mean time. I've seen some go chasing "the dream" of doing this full or part-time... We all think about it. But the quality of their content changes and I find myself less interested in their regular videos.
Anyway, hope you have a good weekend and get out for another camp soon, whether you film it or not. :-) All the best.

Your both top people and the can do attitude you both have is brilliant youve kept me informed and entertained this lockdown so from a military veteran i thank you and the worst thing in the world youve not experienced which is waking up in the morning with a layer of frost on you and you have to put a helmet on with a frozen leather band which which gives you a brain freeze for 5 mins oh happy days lol keep up the great work ive just purchased a Vango mirage pro 200 because of your vidoes so thank you, at 52 and full of pain in the morning i now need tents instead of bashas when i go on my travels. Nice one, Trev. I am pleased to still be here as your 300th sub all that time ago! I'm surprised you didn't say Great Links was your favourite tor but as you say there are so many to choose from! I believe you still have the Dartmouth - Torcross stretch of the South-West Coast Path to do; if you would like some company give me a shout. Not only is it local to me but I'd like to walk that section and revisit Slapton Sands which is a fairly monotonous section because it is all shingle and flat. ATB Max.

You also have to have that many subscribers to earn something from it. Respect for the people who continue. I hope you keep going and I don't care I just watch when something is posted again even if it's in a month or more and it can also be a nice post about how hard it is to combine your life with a You Tube channel.
